  Holiday Weekend

  Favorite place to stay in Bangor. Hotel is always clean and the staff always friendly and accommodating. Breakfast right now is not a buffet, the super friendly staff in the kitchen will get you whatever you'd like. You can sit downstairs but we like to take it to our room and use the kitchen toaster. I wish they'd always do the breakfast this way, it's much more sanitary. Having the Timber Kitchen restaurant attached to the hotel is definitely a bonus. I'd like to give a huge shout out to Emma!! My daughter said Emma was a huge help with ordering flowers to be delivered to our room and was so very nice to her. Thanks Emma and the entire staff for a wonderful stay. We'll be back again soon.

  Great Fall Stay

  Despite the many challenges presented by COVID, David and his staff had a great attitude and were especially gracious. The rooms were impeccably clean, and my girlfriend loved the step in shower. They also have the most comfortable mattresses ever. If you want the best hotel in Bangor, The Residence Inn is it- the location and amenities simply cant be beat.

  ***** Top Notch!

  I stayed here on the 13th of this month and had one of the best experiences EVER in a hotel! The room was stunning, so clean and everything I ever needed in a stay was available to me. The staff was so helpful! The receptionist, Travis, was so kind and professional. I would have never guessed he was fairly new to this property! I spent a wonderful happy hour in the Timber Kitchen & Bar, which is located inside the hotel. Josh was my bartender and he was a delight to have a conversation with! So bubbly, attentive and a great sense of humor...being a bartender myself, this went a long way with me! In the morning, I enjoyed a beautiful array of breakfast items, all being put together by a very nice and friendly attendant. There were scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit cups, danishes, breakfast bars...assortment of juices, teas, coffee. I was amazed at how much there was! This hotel was amazing, also with their Covid measures...the sanitation was at its best! When I return to my hometown in the future, I will be sure to stay nowhere else, but here!

  Sweet staff, real breakfast. Indoor hot tub, gym and pool open by reservation

  I wasn't planning to stay in Bangor, but my clutch failed and it took Subaru 2 days to get the part and fix it. This hotel is sparkling clean, and the rooms smell great. Front desk staff are really helpful. You can reserve a time to use the workout room. It has several treadmills, a bike, weights and a few other things. Then you can reserve a different time to use the indoor pool and hot tub. It is just you in there. For breakfast, you go to the kitchen and they hand you as much as you like of the buffet. Two kinds of fresh fruit, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs from a pre-made mix (had enough of that in the Army), Chobani Greek yoghurts, cereals, milk, breads, peanut butter etc. Tea bags, coffee, cream...huge light filled lobby with couches and fires, which will be good after Covid ends. Nice restaurant on site with really good food. As in, people who are not staying at the hotel actually drive to this restaurant to eat there.

  USED to be a great place to stay, but not anymore!

  I booked 2 rooms over the phone with Fireside. I ask for a nicer rooms due to the low occupancy and was given 2 dumpy dirty rooms! One looked like the door was kicked in and the other room didnt even have a bedspread. Again, both were dirty! Sink did not have a plug so it would have been easy for someone to loose a ring. Booked rooms that included breakfast only to be told the next morning that due to covid it was just a continental breakfast. Understandable but update your website! We had always enjoyed our stays there and attended many many concerts, but not anymore. Such a waste!
