Idilic olive grove holiday with 5* amenitiesThis was one of the best holidays our family had for a long time! The accommodation was really comfortable and clean, with big bright rooms, large veranda and air conditioning. The pool area was also very relaxing for the adults and the pool perfect for our kids (11 and 9). The deep end was great for them to practise their swimming safely and the shallow end was great for chilling out. The restaurant was perfect for family meals, with such a range of local dishes and the pizza oven was marvellous. We couldn't really fault it. Nonna Concetta and nonno Libero showed us how great italian cooking can be when done well. The friendly staff, Raffaele and Raffaela however made our stay really precious, going out of their way to make sure the kids had their favourite dishes and the adults a relaxing time. We can't wait to go back next summer!

Highly recommendedWe spend 2 weeks with our 2 kids at this great place were you feel welcome from the very first moment you arrive. The area is just beautiful if you are a fan of nature. When you get back at Tesori del Sud after a walk in Foresta Umbra, a boattrip or a swim in one of the bays you can relax next to the beautiful swimmingpool were the kids can play in the water or on the playground. On top of that the food, home made limoncello and olive oil are delicious!

Great two weeks in PugliaWe stayed with 7 people at this agriturismo, although it is more of a holiday park. The house we rent was, for 7 people small but since the space around the house was quit big and the weather was great, we used the house only to sleep in, which was fine. The house had airco, a must have during summer time. The owners were very nice. At Tesori del Sud there were a lot of Dutch people, the kids loved it (and so did we). The pool and the bar were used a lot and the owners really made everybody feel at home, organizing diner at the pool once a week and pizza making mornings. All in all a wonderful holiday.

Needs some investmentPotential to be really great but found they let themselves down through what appears to be a lack of investment and lack of personal touches. The villa is not well equipped. Self catering becomes hard as no sharp knife, kettle, toaster, oven or basics like salt and pepper. You get one toilet roll courtesy and after that it down to you to sort everything. The half board option becomes expensive as fixed price per person. So if you fancy just a pizza at 9 euro you are still walking away paying the fixed 23 euro per person for evening meal. Be so much better if you could just pay for what you have each night. All the kids toys around the pool are cracked, missing parts, broken etc... need some investment. The park area - old dirty sand on the floor and tired looking wooden ride on that look like give a kid a decent splinter more than a fun time. Just needs some love really and spend back to the people who stay there.

Amongst the olive groves...This Agriturismo has been sensitively built. Each independent unit has been fitted in around the olive trees - if you look carefully you can still see the rows. We had a 2 bedroom unit which included a kitchenette and a bathroom with a powerful shower. Outside we had a covered area with a table and a private garden with loungers. In the complex there is also a pool which was well used but never overwhelmingly busy. There is also a laundry. Each unit has been carefully designed to give you a private space which isnt overlooked. The Agriturismo has plenty of things for kids to do, but as a couple we felt we had plenty of space. The restaurant opens every night at 6:30 and offers a full choice of courses, individually priced. The pizzas were particularly good from their wood fired oven. There is plenty of parking and Vieste is only 10 minutes away if you need anything or a supermarket. The owner Raffaelle is very helpful, friendly and welcoming. He also has agreements with a couple of beaches if you want a day at the beach. This is a good base for exploring the gargano National Park or the forest umbra. I would highly recommend you stay here.
