  Welcoming atmosphere, relaxing stay, perfect for SUP or windsurfing

  We tried out stand up paddling/windsurfing during a long weekend. We were travelling as a couple. Our room in Geranio (number 7) was on the 2nd floor, small, tidy and equipped with all we needed, basic and good value for money (also fridge). Not too much space though. The personnel were very welcoming, friendly and helpful with explanations, tips, ideas, etc. and also with our delayed arrival and departure. Atmosphere is relaxed and family-like. Keys are picked up from a reception room on the ground floor (no lobby or similar). There is a garden area with garden tables and a swimming pool. Booking was without breakfast, so we had Italian coffee and croissants in one of the nearby chaotic cafes. Lovely. Location is great: Village Domaso is reached via beautiful small roads along the Como See. Drive during daytime to see this. Geranio locates in Domaso between the beach and the main street of the small village. 5 min walk to reach the beach, bars and restaurants, 10 min to reach the surf school/rental. View at the see is stunning to the mountains. We had some party noise from the street at night (could have been a special occasion). This was perfect for our purposes and we look forward to coming here again, but should it be for several nights, will book the bigger apartment on the ground floor to have more space.

  Something special

  We stumbled across these apartment late in the evening after spending the day driving from Geneva. What a find. The rooms were squeaky clean, well appointed and well maintained. The owners was friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic for walks along the lake front, the gelateria across the road, the supermarket close by and the great garden cafe next door. Only our 4 year old son was game enough to try the sparkling pool (it was only about 17 degrees in mid May) but it looked very tempting! The apartment was fantastic value for money and had all we needed for our 4 night stay. We loved it.It was miles apart from the other apartments we viewed in the vicinity which were more expensive. Underground parking was a great asset.

  Excellent stay in Domaso!

  Myself and my boyfriend spent 5 nights at residence geranio in a beautiful apartment with a large balcony, kitchen and a choice of beds! The owners were welcoming and helpful, the underground car park was safe and secure and the pool was tranquil and spotless. The location was perfect : 5 minute stroll to the beach and right beside local cafes, gelaterias and a pizza restaurant. I would definitely recommend residence geranio for couples like us, or for families.

  Fabulous place for a family vacation

  We (family of five (4 years / 2 years / baby)) stayed at the residence for two weeks in June 2018 in a 3 room apartment. The place was very clean and the baby bed already set up when we arrived. What makes this place really special though, are the staff. Manuela and Rita were extremely caring, helpful and generous with their time and advice. They helped us finding our way around quickly and the one little issue we had with a squeaking bed, they fixed within less than one hour. The residence is located close to the beach (sand/pebble beach), two supermarkets (for daily groceries - not shopping centers) and a pizzeria. The pool area was very clean and our kids loved it. We enjoyed our time there very much and will definitely return.

  Beautiful location and great residence

  Very nice host and beautiful area. Sauna and spa were perfect and really enjoyable, pool is big and clean. With outside playground area suits families perfectly, even with smaller kids. Also area is much better for the families than closer to city of Como, more north we drove better it got. 100% value for the money, highly recommended.
