Don't go there (at least during winter)!

We planned a nice winter break in February but will definitely not repeat the mistake here. All around Istria roads are under construction without any information provided by the agency or hotel, so it took us about half an hour to reach the hotel from Umag. Our room was "standard", that means far from 30 m2, in fact together with a bathroom exactly 20 m2, so the information on homepage is deliberately misleading. The room was connected with another room with doors that were not even locked not to talk about nonexisting sound insolation between rooms. In other rooms in our corridor there was a team of football players (one of many in the hotel during winter months) and it was calm only during their trainings, afterwards until midnight they were even playing with ball in the corridor, noise was very disturbing. Room service was poor, the first day they simply hanged wet towels left on the bathroom floor and left beds as they were after sleeping. Indoor swimming-pool was cold, with fresh water, and for the whole pool only 2 (two!) cabins to change dress. At the reception our passports were lost for a day, at the end they found it but without excuse. During dinner it was not possible to get a glass of water, all the drinks were charged. The only better thing were meals: breakfast and dinner were just decent, quality of food average, but again with some problematic points: no fresh milk, no normal cofee, almost no vegetables available for breakfast, every day the same dishes.

    Not a 3 star hotel

I stayed at the hotel 2 nights in September 2017. It took a while to check in and I still dont know what went wrong. Parking was at the time included in the price of the hotel. I am also not sure how old resort is, it feels like a comunist era vacation spot. I have never been to a resort that would not provide pool or beach towels. So, if you decide to come here, bring your beach towels. We had to go to a market close by to purchase them even though we only stayed 2 days. The pool area looks great, however the water was very cold even though we were there at the very beginning on September. The room was small with modern furniture, the batroom in my room was super tiny but the internet worked well for end of the day contacts with a family in USA. On day two a gentlemen who worked at the reception desk helped me solve some work related problem and I really appreciated it. Breakfast was very basic and they could offer a wider variety of baked goods and breads. The beach is a few minutes away and at the time there were no beach chairs in site. If you go there make sure you can rent them. The main beach was bult with large stones and concrete and another one we visited was natural, rocky beach you can see all over Istra. All in all, I would perhaps stay there again for a night or two but would not go there on a week+ vacation.

    Croudy hotel

The Hotel is OK but a little bit noisy. A lot of people, mediocre interior and very short time to check out. The food is average. The service is all right but nothing special. And the parking could be solved in a better way.

Fine hotel but no 3/4-star feeling

We chose this hotel because of it being close to Katoro beach, a nice snorkeling place for beginners. The hotel and the "residence" are different, but they are all too shallow, about 40 cm, or too deep, 1.35 m, for a 5- 8 year old) and the waterpark, which is basically a pool with slides for smaller kids and a set of 3 slides for bigger ones. There was a nice selection of other activities as well, so you were not bored for sure. The rooms were fine, not outstanding but good for our stay. Instead of half-board, which was supposed to be booked, we got "bed and breakfast", and hotels.com was unwilling to help nor did they try to resolve the issue in any way (still waiting to hear from them). That was a very disappointing experience. The beach is a short walk away, but it's all rocky, so you must wear rock shoes. There are some restaurants and a market nearby, plus you can take a little train to Umag for sightseeing.

    Not a 4 star hotel..

Went there for weekend with wife and two kids, 4 year and 2 years.. They have a lot for kids, water slides, small pools, entertainment, kids disco and that is the best part of this hotel.. Staff are also very nice and helpful.. But the cleanlines of room was very, very poor.. floor dirty, fridge had fungus, dust was every where, children found old chocolate bar under bed.. Also shower cabin was falling aparat, door fell off, and bottom was broken.. We were very dissapointed with room.. We had a halfboard, and food was plain, simple, not very tastefull and it repeated every day, but we gave them a credit because of corona situation, it isn't easy working in this situation..
