  Nice palce

  It was one of the stops in our trip around the Sicily and I would say the best. I and my family really enjoyed every second there. It`s so quiet, and charming around. Nice balcony view and It`s only 500m to the see.

  Good place to stay,great people.

  Stayed for 4 nights at the Capo San Marco,had a very pleasant stay even though the weather was not too good at the time we were there,we were made to feel very welcome by everybody we met from Dom who gave us our keys to all the family who run the cafe/shop downstairs. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet holiday as Renella beach is out of the way somewhat from Sciacca which is the nearest town & around 3/4 miles away. As just mentioned the little shop come café on the site are very helpful & can,t do enough for you even down to cooking 2 evening meals for us during our stay. The rooms in the place come with everything you need & are very well kept by the owners who couldn,t do enough for you,any problems we had were sorted out straight away,we would stay here again anytime we were in the area.

  Renella: Quiet setting, great Host

  We were connected to the owner (Domenico) by a travel agency in Sciacca when the place our friends and us had previously booked through TA was not inhabitable. This turned out to be a fortuitous event as we couldn't have ended up with a better place, or a better host. Domenico arranged to meet us in order to guide us to the Renella Residence as I'm sure it would be difficult to find on your own. This is a complex of same style townhouses. We were there in the latter part of September and had the complex pretty much to ourselves for the 5 nights, although the small disturbance we caused once to our immediate neighbours was smoothed over by sharing our Limoncello. The restaurants in the immediate area of the complex were not open that late in the season. Not a problem as we found great places to eat in Sciacca about 15 minutes down the road. A final word about Domenico. He was an excellent host, tolerating our frequent silly tourist questions patiently and respectfully. A word of caution if wireless is important to you. Not sure how well the signal was received in other rooms but for us, we had to walk a few feet down the balcony to Domenicos unit in order to get a signal. Because of a family situation back home, we needed to use the Internet a lot over the 5 days we were there and Domenico was courteous enough to place a chair for us near his unit so we could sit while connected. I would not hesitate to book with Domenico again if we are ever back in Sciacca

  El departamento cumple con todo lo prometido: es amplio, luminoso, aireado, está bien equipado, muy limpio y la ubicación es excelente. La Sra. Angiola (la administradora) es una persona súper competente y amable, capaz de solucionar cualquier inconveniente lo más pronto posible y de forma adecuada. El Sr. Domenico (uno de los dueños) también ha sido siempre muy amable y solícito. Estuvimos 4 semanas en el departamento y realmente lo recomendamos. El único aspecto negativo es la conexión a Internet. Creemos que la banda debería ser ampliada y la señal del WI-FI amplificada.

  Not value for money and poorly equipped

  On your booking confirmation it says there is a reception with opening hours during which you can book in. Wrong. There is no reception. If you manage to contact the owner by telephone and he manages to contact the cleaner she may, or may not turn up to give you the keys. We waited around for 2 hours before managing to do this and during our stay met several people all wondering what to do after hanging about for some long time. It is quite a large block of self catering apartments on two floors. We were on the first floor with quite a good view of the sea with a kitchenette with extra sofa bed which had to be used as the sitting area; small double bedroom and small bathroom. The apartment is inadequately and cheaply equipped having a gas hob with no oven and only an old, burnt frying pan to cook with and some battered saucepans with no utensils, spatula etc. Very little cutlery ie 3 non matching knives for eating. Bed linen is included but towels are extra and there is no tea towel or washing up liquid provided. There is no airconditioning and no way of getting a draught through the apartment which is then uncomfortably hot during June, July and August. No fan is provided. The apartment was reasonably clean but the basin in the bathroom was nearly completely blocked. All the plugs in the sinks had been removed and there was no stand on which to dry clothes. Everyone we spoke to staying here said they were disappointed and did not think he placed lived up to its description on the internet. We thought it was not worth the money asked and certainly would not come back again.
