Pleasantly surprisedWe (a family of four) stayed in these apartments for just one night as a stop over on our way to Southern France. Although the website looked ok we weren't expecting much especaially as the aprtment was only 82 for the night. Anyway, the apartment was very clean, bright, with nice furnishings and two large bedrooms and a lovely terrace area over looking the pool. Most of the other apartments appeared to have been occupied by other families but it was very quiet with just the occassional sound of very well behaved youngsters in the pool. We had a typical but lovely breakfast in the quaint dining area the following day for just 18 for the four of us (not bad by French standards). The town itself is beautiful - picture postcard and as one of my children said it is like a setting for a fairy tale - all cobbled streets and beautiful buildings all of which are adorned by various types of flowers. The town is obviously very popular with the French (we didn't meet any other nationality) and they obviously want to keep it a secret. In my opinion It is well worth a visit and we would have no hesitation in returning to the town and the accommodation.

ExcellentNormally my wife and I would stay in a 4star hotel. In Brittany not a lot of hotels have a swimming pool, this one has, only small but very nice. This was the reason we chose Le Domaine D'ar Peoc'h. I was put off by the cheap price of 135 euro for 3 nights. We arrived midnight to find the hotel reception closed with welcome letter on a desk with room key and directions to room. Our room was an appartment, separate bedroom and living room/kitchen, everywhere was spotless. You have to make your own bed and hire the sheets (5 euro) we thought this maybe a problem, it wasnt. The lady who runs the hotel is very nice she does everthing, reception, breakfast, cleans the pool we saw one other person cleaning. Breakfast is good for 6 euro or buy your own. Pool was very nice after a day travelling, relax and swim. The hotel is in a picture postcard village absoluty beautifull, flowers everywhere a few shops and restaurants. Day 1 we went to Vannes (45 mins) very nice town, did the all day boat trip arround the Islands well worth it. Day 2 St Nazier and Pornic. It was superb weekend break made better by a very pleasent hotel. For a 2 star hotel I was very impressed and would recommend this hotel.

Amazing Place in Brittany - You Must Stay HereMy husband and I stayed at the Residence Ar Peoc'h a couple of weeks ago, and we are still talking about what a great experience we had. We arrived early, before the hotel actually opened, and our host welcomed us and gave us an apartment "upgrade." He is charming, funny, friendly but not intrusive, and he made us feel very welcome. We had a terrific space, with a large living room/dining area, a small, but very functional kitchen, a large bedroom with a very comfortable bed, and a large bathroom with the best water pressure in Europe. The apartment was well stocked with dishes, appliances, linens, large closets, and a very nice TV and everything was spotless. The view from the apartment was lovely- beautifully maintained grounds and the woods beyond. It was too cold to use the pool, but it looked very nice and there were lots of comfortable chairs, etc. There is also a free parking lot just in the back with an entrance and an elevator, so you don't have to drag your bags! It was difficult returning to Baltimore after relaxing for a short time in this idyllic town. Just around the corner from the Ar Peoc'h are creperies, restaurants, antique shops, and gorgeous buildings covered in plants and flowers. Nearby is a lake, and down the road several other lovely towns. Questembert and Vannes are within easy reach. A terrific location with one of the nicest hotel managers in France! We can't wait to return.

No Staff, No Room, Had to go elsewhere.Expedia makes clear note that this hotel accommodates guests after a 3:00 pm arrival. Our family arrived at Rocherford en Terre at 5:00 and the reception was closed. They did not received guests on Sunday, according to a handwritten note taped at the door! We had made reservations and paid through Expedia but there was no one to ask questions. Only a phone number that nobody answered. If you have ever been to Rocheford en Terre, you would know that you WILL NOT find another hotel to stay on a Sunday afternoon. We had to return to our car and spend the night in Rennes.

Needs some updatingSpent 5 nights having booked 7. Was a tired room. Not enough selfcatering facilities as most of the town was closed at the end of the season. Only one or two places to eat, one was very expensive but good quality. Very much somewhere to visit for a day or two at the most. Could do with an injection of flair, or just a facelift. The sofa was tired, the decoration was bland but it was clean. Bed relatively comfortable. Staff not available on Wednesday or Sunday at all. Other times were hit and miss. Needs some investment. Car park free but all uphill as regards taking luggage etc. Not suitnle if you have mobility issues.
