  the price save them all

  the list of the services offered is very good the building is a recent construction and the common facilities are nice and clean. Due to the kind of accommodation cleaning of the room (if not requested as additional service) is at your own cost - fair enough - but when you enter i want the apartment to be totally clean! Unfortunately was not the case, so dust, sand, and others from previous guests.... Now considering you pay a fee for the final cleaning services is not acceptable other small details: cable/sattelite box was not plugged, if you are not aware on how to connect things you must call the reception (when they welcome you they say everything is working). The wi-fi signal is weak and most of the time is impossible to have access to the network. Good points: the structure is near the beach which is only 5 minutes walking (crossing one road). Prices are good Personnel working especially the reception desk is always helpful and nice. Probably is the correct place for younger user with different and lower needs.

  Lovely place to stay

  Room was big enough for 3 people and had a good bathroom. Kitchenette, although small and crsaftiky hidden by cupboiars doors is functional and clean. Pool is lovely and location is very close to the beach. We made good use of the free bikes and there are many to choose from to get you around. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again. Only negative is how noisy the street outside is, bring ear plugs or ask to be overlooking the pool!

  Clean, comfortable and convenient

  Lovely modern rooms with clean facilities. Big pool in the grounds, lots of sun loungers. Right next to pedestrian shopping area and only a 3min walk to the beach. Prices to hire sunloungers on the beach a bit expensive but the area is worth it and not overcrowded. Very helpful staff and plenty of well maintained bicycles to explore the area. Great stay!   Terrible customer service/ avoid this hotel

  My stay at the Altomare residence has been and continues to be a most negative experience from the start. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and advise extreme caution if considering this hotel as an option. Arrived at 03:00 on Tuesday morning 31st July and the hotel asked for full payment of the room upfront less deposit. Thought it was customary to pay at the end of the stay but paid up as requested. On the evening of Wednesday 1st August, I had just finished using the shower, and as I opened the shower door, the door came flying off the rails and the smashed into many pieces. The door did not have a safety guard to prevent this from happening. In addition, the door was not forced open in anyway nor was excessive pressure used. I was quite shocked by the incident but managed to extract myself from the bathroom. I sustained deep cuts on my left hand, left foot and surface cuts on thighs and wrist (see attached pictures). I went down to reception for immediate first aid which was received. I asked to use another shower, but this was declined. The bathroom was left with broken glass strewn on the floor overnight. On Wednesday, 2nd August, the hotel manager said that the hotel owner was demanding 400 euros as compensation for the broken shower door. I refused, as I was the injured party and the door was fundamentally unsafe as it did not have a safety guard, the minimum that they could have offered me was use of an alternative shower and compensation for my injuries. The only action taken by the hotel was to clean up the broken glass from the floor, but the shower door has not been replaced and Im forced to use a shower without a door. Thursday, 3rd August - receptionist passed on the message to request either immediate payment of 400 euros or leave the hotel. Again, I refused on the basis I had paid for 7 nights stay with fully working facilities, the damage had been caused by a defective door and Im the injured party. Since then, I have been repeatedly asked (to the point of harassment) for payment every time I have entered or exited the building. In addition, the room had no WiFi as advertised. The room I had been offered, the junior suite, is next to the air conditioning vents on the roof terrace, which meant that there was continuous noise throughout the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for basic customer service and a peaceful stay. Update to follow

  Checked out after 1 night, paid for seven nights

  We (family of three) booked and paid for 7 nights but checked out after 1 night after having got no sleep at all. The reason was that the rooms have no isolation and all sounds outside (vehicles in the street, dogs barking, people talking on surrounding balconies, youngsters yelling, etc) and inside (people walking in the stairs, passing the room, etc) passed directly in to the room. In addition, the shower was very small and unfresh (mold). The balcony was very small and without furniture. We ended up checking out after one night even if the owner didn't agree to refund any of the overpriced fee that we paid for the seven nights. We can not recommend this place to anybody.
