So baadVery small rooms, I guess prison norms provide for more space per inmate. Cold. Poor bed sheets and covers. Parking slots also for midget cars, no way to fit anything else than FIAT500. Insane aggressive man calling himself a director of the place. Poor slopes. at the start we tried to change 6-day skipass for Marilleva for a one incliding Madonna di Campiglio. They did not allow us - costed us extra 100/p for daily extensions. Nobody who was in Austrian Alps should expose thselves to that misery.

Vintage apartmentsWe stayed there for four days for a skiing holiday with my family. First impression was that the complex is huge and ugly. It feels like everything was made in the 70s and not much modernization has been done. The apartment was uncomfortable. It was a single room and in one corner a cubicle was separated by wooden panels as a bedroom with 3 beds (1 bunk bed, 1 normal). The other bed was a double Murphy bed and when it was opened, not much room was left in the apartment. Sheets and blankets were old and very oversized. The kitchenette was missing many items including decent drinking glasses, toaster, microwave oven. The freezer door was also broken. The bathroom was small, cluttered, but it was alright. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. The ski deposit was in a separate building, so you had to walk outside. Our apartment was in sector 2, which was lucky since it was close to the deposit, but for others it was 4-story climb on an outside staircase every day. The deposit itself was a huge corridor with lockers for the skis and boots. It was warm inside but because of the bad ventilation in the lockers my boots didn't dry completely overnight. The ski lift was very close to the deposit, which was a huge plus. The hotel complex is huge. It has several sectors, buildings, parking lots. Our parking space was in the farthest parking lot. It was a 5 minute walk from the apartment and it didn't even feel like a safe place to leave the car. The reception is also far out in one corner of the complex. The huge complex also had its pros, since there was a convenience store, sports shop indoors. The hotel restaurant was also nice. There are a lot more services that the hotel offers (wellness, swimming pool, bar, etc.) but I have no experience with those. WiFi was only in one room next to the reception. In conclusion I feel like there are better alternatives to this hotel. The location is great, but it lacks modernization.

Worth the money, excellent locationBudget place to stay in Val di Sole. Do not expect any added luxury to it, but it is clean, neat and very good if you are there just for skiing. Really enjoyed a week-long stay in Albare - just off the ski slope, supermarket, bar and few gift shops in place. I would recommend it to all who are looking for a cheap and neat accommodation in this region. Some disadvantages - wifi only near to reception, swimming pool with an additional charge and opened only till 7pm.

SkiingFirst impression of this apartment is not good at all. It seems very dusty and dirty. Once when we all cleaned, and washed, we were able to use apartment normal. The complex has everything you need, all stores. Happiness is a fantastic ski resort in the surrounding, apartment is very close to the ski slopes and the gondola and you can enjoy a whole day of skiing.

Average place; superb location; reasonable costBudget place to stay in Marilleva 1400. It shares the physical infrastructure of the Hotel Solaria. It was clean, warm, has hot water, fridge, stove, all you need to eat in. There are bars and restaurants to eat out too. The gondola is at the hotel. If you are in the Albare, you can use the pool/spa etc from Solaria at some cost. Internet is available in one lobby room. There is a small supermarket, decent bar and few gift shops in place, and ski lockers. I would recommend it to all who are looking for a cheap and neat accommodation in this region. Quarters are tight in the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom! Our suite had two Murphy beds!! Definitely not luxurious, but efficient! Most of the buildings look from the outside very similar (60s/70s cement). Albare staff was great.
