Quiet stay off seasonI was there on February 23 for the night between Bizerte and Tunis. I picked this place for the price and the parking facilities and turned out to be a good value. It is about 4 km from Bizerte Medina. Large complex, large rooms with living room, separate double bed bedroom and kitchenette, not that I need it but it came with the apartment. It has sea view balconies but i got a garden view, not a big deal. It has a very relaxed feeling. The rooms are a little on the beat up side. Fully functional with a good washroom and shower but out-of-date. I didnt eat at the resort. I didnt even what to escpect, there were only 2 people in the restaurant, didnt see what they were easting but the menu was expensive. 20TD for appetizers, salad or soup and 35TD for main course. I got on the car and back on the main road, turned right and drivo less than 1 km. There are a bunch of small restaurants, 3 pizza places and many other great places to eat. I picked this small dinner, there was a family of locals with kids, this is a sigh for good food and I was right. A whole shawarma plate diner with rice, French fries, pickles, one full fresh banquette and a whole bunch of other things : 6TD. It is called BGH Fast Food, on the same side with the hotel, It stands for Ben Gaid Hassine. Only 3 tables inside but clean and makes very good food. Many locals came and took diner to go. There is also a super market if you really want make use of the kitchenette and save money. Breakfast was very poor, down to the minimum. Only boiled eggs, one sort of salami and cheese, very poor variety of fruit. The worst breakfast i had in Tunisia, but I guess this is what you get off season in a budget resort. I hope it get better in the season. The grounds are well maintained, quite nice, the beach was closed and dirty but I didn't care about that. Like I said, good value for the dollar but I would not make another stop there.

Enjoyed it!When we compare cost vs value and 3 stars hotel, i believe its totally worth it! The place is quite, located in front of the beach very close to the city and everything is around it. You can find taxi easily, there is a supermarket and some shops nearby (walking distance). The villa was clean (not 5 stars clean) and room service was gd. People working there are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was weak, not much of variety.

Lovely beachside locationAn older but very well-maintained vacation complex in Bizerte. I only stayed here one night but the hotel was very clean, beautiful location, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My breakfast and dinner were included in my rate and both were delicious. While I only stayed here one night I highly recommend it as a vacation destination for individuals, couples, or families.

Price is right with a good sea view.Stayed here with family in a Seaview villa. The calm was great and the people were friendly. The pool could use additional cleaning as a lot of people come straight from beach to pool and no one monitoring if they take shower before going in or not. A lot of sand in the pool. I didnt agree with 6:00 pool closure the sun is still out and people want to swim more but because the lifeguard duties end at 6:00 all must exist. The villa was nice size but the kitchen too small and outdated. We stayed for 2 days and for the price i would recommend it. The beach area was nice and not too much sand to walk as soon as you go down the stairs you are on the water. The cafeteria and bar both advertise crepes but for 2 nights 3 days they did not have any at anytime we checked.

Wonderful Experience with FriendsAfter staying several times in the convenient all-inclusive resorts, I decided to try some place else. Our travel staff recommended Residence Ain Meriem. I stayed there twice with friends (8/2019 and 8/2020) and was not disappointed. The staff are genuinely warm and accommodating without being intrusive. The setting is very relaxing with the sprawling grounds. My son and I stayed in the duplex casitas with 2 bedrooms/2 baths with a kitchen and living room. the first year. I returned without him the next year and I stayed in a one-bedroom casita. The beach is just as nice as the other resort towns. When we returned for the second time, we saw that they have made improvements by adding an outdoor lounge. My favorite part is that Residence Ain Meriem caters to ALL types of guests -- singles, families, young, old, modern, traditional -- that everybody feels welcome. It is a beautiful resort.
