    Bright spot in Jeddah

    Afte a very hectic and awful airport encounter with mmigration officers, the first thing you will need is to relax and enjoy the rest of the day. Renz Hotel was just that, and I was glad that the room was very clean, the bed well made, and the bathroom very aromatic. The food though is not that appetizing and lacks diversity. But overall, Renz Hotel might be a budget friendly choice in Jeddah.

    Very good at budget friendly price

    The hotel is located at Palestine St, has a lot of parking underground, fast check-in, and welcoming staff. Rooms are very clean, refreshing smell all over the place. The room had two king size beds with a small balcony and a separate comfortable living room and a good kitchen. The service is nice, and the breakfast is a good and huge bonus for a 450 SR per night price. Beside the hotel there is a pharmacy and a small store, and AlBaik restaurant very near. A very good choice in Jeddah city.

    Huge rooms, good location

    This hotel has huge rooms with kitchen style area, living room ect, there is a nice gym for men only. The price was best on website dont call and book. The entrance is fun in such a dark city. buffet is good but not cleaned up during service.

    Trying to play it cool...

    Jeddah in summer months is not the prime destination to go.... The hotel is located on one of the primary roads with heavy traffic mainly around midnight hours. It is a rather small estate, 3-4-star category with 1- or 2-room apartments. Best to be reached by taxi, no point in going to or from there by walking. Nothing to see, nowhere to go, just let it be.... The apartments are large and spacious, with stuffy air due to climatic conditions outside. Powerful but noisy air-conditioners take the indoor temperature from 30+ degrees down to a more pleasant range. Ironically, I even caught a cold in the draught over night. Apartments have a kitchenette, so you could even prepare your own meals or stock up the fridge for an extended stay. Leather sofas and large TV make a reasonable living-room. WiFi is available, although a bit slow. Good enough for emails and browsing. Breakfast buffet is great, well sorted with salads, goat cheese and vegetables -- delicious, not to be missed. There also is a variety of the standard "western" style products, but it doesn't reach the quality of the local food.

    Basic hotel located in front of a very busy road:unfortunately you can hear noises from the room The room is big and clean but old style.. when I arrived the guy at the reception didn't speak english: how is possible?? Fortunately I spent only one night..
