  No sleep, average breakfast

  We spent a few days at La Riva (200m down the road) and moved to Renegade after deciding to extend our trip. Both hotels are on the main strip (full of bars and clubs.) The food at breakfast was average, but the coffee was sludgy and the juice watered down and sugary. The room was ok, with working air conditioning. The biggest problem was that the hotel owns a night club called Renegade Pub - directly opposite! They play music and karaoke, excessively loud, until after 4AM every night. Even with the windows and shutters closed, it was so loud, nothing was going to stop it. If you plan to go clubbing every night and sleep on the beach, this hotel is probably great. If like most normal people you want to sleep at night, steer well clear of this hotel!

  Great

  Hotel is average for people with some standards however its equal its price. Room is okay including small TV, air con and minibar. Bathroom is clean and including one towel. We didnt try restaurant however breakfast was good, enough choice including different options daily. Location is the best for young people youre straight at the beach front and by all bars at restaurants, with regards the noice that might be disadvantage but if you bring the plugs you will be alright. In summary its a great hotel.

  Center, beach, noisy

  Good Breakfast Fine and clean room Good service at frontdesk Improve Parking difficult to find, call frontdesk when you arrive, then they open gate. Noisy!! Hotel is down town, close to everything, also the party all night long... Frontdesk was very helpful relocating us to less noisy room on day 2, THANKS!!

  First trip to Hungary

  We spent our 40th wedding anniversary in Hungary. Firstly in Budapest, then moving on to Siófok at Lake Balaton. We stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a really pleasant stay. The holiday season hadnt fully started so the area was quiet but that suited us perfectly. The hotel staff were really nice and very helpful. Kinga, the hotel manager speaks English and was particularly helpful. Rooms very clean, breakfast was good. Couldnt really fault anything. I doubt we we go back in high season as we could imagine it being extremely busy and noisy. However, it suited us and we had lots to do and see.

  Great location, friendly staff

  Upon arrival, the young lady at the reception did not know English or German, she quickly found a colleague who spoke German. Otherwise, the staff at the reception, at breakfast and in the restaurant was nice and helpful. The room was small but clean. Breakfast was sufficient, parking in an enclosed yard with a camera. We chose the hotel because of the location - right on the busy pedestrian promenade, many bars and restaurants. This corresponds to the noise until late at night, which we did not mind. Entrance to the main beach about 100 meters.
