  Amazing breakfast

  I was warmly welcomed on arrival in the foyer with delightful deer head sculptures on the walls. I had walked 30kms of the Via Francigena and was delighted with how comfortable my bed was for a recovery nap. The room and the bathroom were very clean. There was a lovely bar nearby for a recovery Prosecco and not far away a supermarket with a good range of food needed for my lunch on the pilgrim trail next day. This hotel is ideally situated for those walking the Via Francigena. What's more the breakfast next day included five different cereals, however, the piece de resistance was the scrambled eggs cooked to order.

  Fantastic mountain view

  Booked while on the road & had a comfy room with mountain views. We spend the night in the hotel but had dinner in the restaurant underneath the hotel. Very good choice, as the restaurant was very well decorated and the food was excellent. Close to all amenities and the autostrada. Ideal for Bikers too. Regards Ray

  From the pictures of the bookings.com site we thought the hotel was really better. It looks like it did not have any maintenance. It seems it has the same furniture of the opening in the 1972. The position is good though.

  Warm welcome here!

  There was a very friendly and informative lady on reception who made me feel welcome on arrival, despite my hair being all over the place after cycling down the back roads from Aosta. I had a very nice room at the front of the hotel looking across the valley to the mountains, and there was a room in the hotel where I put my bicycle overnight. Nice restaurant and excellent meal and wine. Good selection for breakfast in the morning, and not at all expensive, by my standards.

  Ski stop over

  We stayed here on our way in to the mountains. Others were staying here for the week and commuting each day to ski. It was simple but had everything that we needed. The hot tub was out of order but the sauna was delightful. The restaurant was good but very busy on a Saturday night so it is worth booking if you are there over a weekend.
