  Lots of small niggles

  We stayed her for 12 nights over Xmas and New Year.We enjoyed our stay and would have liked to give a score of 3.5 but hope the score of 3 leads to management reading and acting on the review. Overall the Hotel was very good but there were several areas that whilst minor were annoying and not in keeping with a 4 star hotel. We had the buffet breakfast each morning and on around 9 of the 12 days had to ask for cereal/fruit bowls.When produced sometimes after a wait they were "hot out of the dishwasher"they simply did not have enough. I actually felt like going out and buying some to help them out!. BUY SOME MORE BOWLS! The weather was on the cold side and the restaurant is not big enough to accommodate all the breakfast guest so tables are set in the bar area. As it is open plan this is not far from reception and the main front doors. There is no lobby or air curtain over the doors so on several occasions we ate breakfast wearing fleece jackets! Either expand the dining area or deal with the front entrance . Housekeeping was inconsistent. Toilet paper was not provided one day.Towels were short another and on another items were removed from surfaces for cleaning and not put back.I suspect cleaning was rushed. As these things are easily avoidable/fixable we hope that some action will be taken before our next stay, As I say overall very good but avoidable niggles particularly for a high end hotel

  Not too terrible for one night stay

  Well, for a 4 star hotel this one does a bare minimum. There arent many good places to eat in the vicinity if any, and restaurant at the hotel is kind of your average airport restaurant (not good, just average) with minimal personality and somewhat acceptable food. Room service menu is very small, wine list non existent, there is no mini bar and no even snacks. Good luck if you are hungry late at night. If you are planning to stay for more than one night, do yourself a favor and find a better hotel even if it is further away.

  Excellent stay!

  Down in the area visiting relatives. Other Marriott properties were way too expensive! This came in $50 cheaper and offered a full gym, with jacuzzi, steam and sauna. As a long time member where I used to be more valued until the recent merger with other chains, I was even allowed a later check out so that my wife and I could work out first and clean up. Kinda nice. The room was nice, the beds were comfortable. Service was excellent! Maids very nice and attentive. I could tell the place is well run! I am surprised that this is not a higher level property, 3.5. Had a quick lunch first day and breakfast second day. Very pleasant and reasonably priced, again, great service! Good management. Up in the Bay Area we rarely see this level of service as we lack employees to higher! I will stay here again, guaranteed! One bummer, is that Marriott run properties have tightened up their belts and have become much more "selective" in their perks. To be a higher level, ya gotta stay 50 nights a year at their properties. I did about 30 last year, probably more this year, but I doubt 50.

  Pricey but many of amenities!

  This hotel is part of a full service health club. Lots of options for active people including basketball courts, racket ball, spin classes and a large weight area. Outdoor includes 3 pools with lap pool and 2 hot tubs. The room I had on the 3rd floor over looked the pool and was quite noisy until after 11 pm.

  GREAT STAY

  We spent the weekend and had a great stay. Robert checked us in and made us feel welcome. With their COVID protocols we felt safe and had no issues. The staff was friendly, professional and cared about our comfort. Robert was our favorite. He would stop what he was doing and ask us how we were doing. He was a pleasure to deal with. He was very customer oriented and even at check out came outside to thank us for our stay and wish us safe travels. We look forward to seeing Robert on our next stay as we will be back.
