Don't go here, bad personneApartment is comfortable and the villa is recently refurbished. It is close to the sea and old city. Walking distance from both is less than 5 minutes... But, the reception is few hundred meters away from the villa. We didnt even get an email warning us about that. In front of the villa there is only 3 minute parking available for 2 cars making it hard to check-in. I think an email doesn't cost them a dime so imho this is a big issue. Furthermore we got dirty towels and the cleaning lady wanted to change them after three days !? Until we called her in and presented untouched dirty towels. Only then we got an apology. Internet connection is available but there are no clear instructions whatsoever to get connected. Also, there were no instructions or any warning that they turned off the freakin' boiler so we showered in freezing cold water. The cleaning ladies came into room 15 min after checkout time without even knocking on the door. There is no highlighted reception number neither on the phone or on any kind of brochure available in the apartment. We complained at the reception about all this things and got from the receptionist: "you are right, I'm sorry". Don't go here, this is not a 4* venue at least not a 4 star personnel.

Nice place when visiting LovranFirst impression on arrival was very positive! Beautiful setting and lovely villa on the outside. The apartment did not disappoint us and is fully equipped. 2 bathrooms since the appartment was ment for 3 people. Upstairs sleeping and downstairs a small but neat house room with kitchenette. The location is also perfect, from where easy access to nearby villages/towns aswell the center of Lovran. Thia is within walking distance, about 5 minutes. The apartment has a pool of excellent size up front, it looked a bit pulpous and needed a cleaning. We were here in the beginning of oktober so it's was, at least for me, to cold for swimming annyway. The environment is very beautiful! Sea is within walking distance and the front desk for check-in / check-out is al 2 minute walk. It's true that there is no housekeeping service during your stay, toilet rolls and towels are limited. Especially if you are staying a week at the apartment. The water heater can manually be turned on and off, There therefore we had no problems with an ice-cold shower. The information folder in the apartment is oriented to the hotel down the street and does not match the appartement where we stayed. Upon checkout, we have made a report of non properly drainage in the shower stall. The air conditioning made a lot of noise and did not function properly, butt it was October so we didnt use it anyway. This would be processed according to the reception. All in all we had a good stay here. The ambience of the apartment we liked very much. We would therefore recommend this appartement to other vissitors to Lovran.

Romantic with very good stuffWent in august 2016 with my husband. The villa was georgeus, one of the most beautiful and romantic area in Lovran, very close to the beach and the neighbour hotel, where you can use a really professional stuff, private beach and pools. It could have been more kitchen accessorize in the appartment and the sofa was low quality and totaly unsafe to use, but most of all we were very satisfied. Chaning towels and quickly cleaning was ok. Very nice personality. Will be back soon.

Potentially great apartment, but overpriced in its current stateVila Atlanta is a beautiful old house with sea view and just a few steps from the beach promenade. It could be the most amazing place you've ever stayed. It has a lot of potential, but needs a lot more love and attention. A paint job is badly needed and the garden is huge but looks like it's not been taken care of in a while. Our apartment had a balcony which had an amazing view which could have been even better if they'd cut down one or two trees (including some already dead ones). It's part of Hotel Excelsior, a hotel 3 doors down in 60's style, and someone thought it was a good idea to use the uncomfortable 60's couch of that hotel in this 1800's house, instead of something more fitting to the style of the house. There's no parking at the apartment, but we parked at the hotel next door without any problems. In it's current state it is overpriced, but with a little bit more TLC this could be an amazing place to stay.

Very different from photos. Bad service. Good location.I'm very sorry that I have to give such a low score to this place. It looked promising and location is very beautiful. But, most of the things were really bad for a so called 4 star property with very nice photos on the web site. I booked apartment with 3 beds, although I knew that I will be alone. But I wanted more space. I hate small rooms. When I arrived I got a room no. 15 which was a duplex where every floor had appx. 8 square meters. Very small and with quite old and used look and feel. And with just one window looking to the road. I asked for another room with any kind of exit to the outside. Terrace, or backyard. They told me that I have to wait for a reception manager until tomorrow. Next day I asked reception manager to get new room. He was polite and experienced but he actually did almost nothing for me. He gave me room on a ground floor that has a view on the big wall. But OK, it was better since it was bigger and I had some kind of exit to the outside. I also said that will accept studio (smaller then what I paid) just in order to get some view. But no... They gave me this. I would understand such a behavior if they were full. But there was almost no one in the villa. After my 2nd day it was clear that all or almost all apartments with sea view were empty. Just to make clear that at the time when I booked there was no option to book sea view. So, it's fully up to them which apartment they will give you. Parking was totally empty, which was a plus, but also a clear sign that villa is not packed and that they can give me better room if they want. But they didn't. On top of this few more things, why you should stay away of this place: - end of the season can be cold. no heating in Villa Atlanta. air-condition is blowing only cold air - they clean the room only after 7 days!!! come on! this is 4 star place. even in 2 star hotels in Greece they clean every second day. or 3rd - they change towels every 4 days. but they forgot to change mine. So, for 6 days I had ZERO service from the hotel. nothing. like I"m staying in RBNB. This can be a very nice place. It has an atmosphere and room (not number 15 but the one that I got after) was quite big. Obviously, here is extremely important which room you get. In off-season parking is free and available. During season don't even think about it. Be ready to pay 15-20 EUR more per day. Stay away from Villa Atalanta. At least until they don't change their attitude a bit and take at least some care about guests.
