  Great building, very nice rooms, great location, but noise is an issue

  This place has so much potential. We had a junior suite with sea view. We did however expect this place to be quiet, as it's a small place, adults only and by the water. One also pays quite a high price for the room. The most frustrating part was that the noise coming from the nightclub was just too loud and ruined the atmosphere of the whole place which is a shame for the hotel as it's not their fault, it's a new place that opened by the beach. At the time of booking I was trying to decide between this hotel and the Kvarner next door. If looking at it now, I would book the Kvarner next door as it probably has the same charm but without the noise presumably as not near this new bar. The rooms were very large and clean, though very brown in colour. The bathroom was large, they could have had a separate shower from the bath. We really loved the place Opatija and the building and the hotel, just the noise ruins sleep and that's the whole point of a hotel. The hotel provided parking if paid for - they drive car to park, very hard to get it out if you need it during your stay but we didn't need it. The breakfast was good, the birds on the terrace will take your food if you leave it for one minute. We did not use the gym as it wasn't very enticing. Our options in Opatija were limited as we booked last minute in peak season, I am not sure if I would stay here again or look at other places as there seem to be many beautiful places in the area. The location of the hotel is fantastic though right next to the town and the water and the gardens. Opatija is a must to visit.

  Perfect accommodation

  Very nice villa, feels like in the 1900s, but with modern touch...close to sea, close to centre, private parking. You have access to hotel Remisens, you have there pool available also...I fully recommend to demanding clients visiting Opatija, I will definately stay here when I come back.

  Superb

  Brilliant. Rooms are big, clean and sea view is something to remember. Very luxurious, especially high ceilings give some extra touch to everything. Staff great, breakfast is superb. Really is. Internet good, position of hotel cant be better.

  So, love this place. The look of the building is just stunning. had a huge room on the third floor, very quiet, isolated, slept like a baby the first night. Clean, maintained, I would even say luxury. Usually dont take photos of my accomodation, but this one deserves it

  Never again

  Room is fine and large. The view is very good. The staff is o.k. Breakfast is very good. But the noice from the disco nearby you can forget. They should go to the Ballermann or somewhere. Not to Opatija. Sorry. I could not sleep most of the night.
