  The inconvenienced staff

  I have stayed at the Remington at least 3 dozen times and they just lost by business for life over $12. I am in the military and provide tax exempt forms during the check in process so I amble to properly file my travel voucher accordingly. While filing this voucher I noticed that the government rate which has been honored for 2 plus years was increased $12 or so over a 3 night stay. No problem let me call and work it out right? WRONG! The front desk clerk felt as she was inconvenienced when asked and even more perturbed having to send me another receipt taking my state taxes off which they failed to do in the first place. I was told that management would give me a call(same day) to answer my questions and explain. Well that didnt happen and I had to call back. Really sounds like my issue or concerns were NOT a priority to them. After a back and forth with the manager I have decided to NEVER stay there again. A simple sorry for the confusion Mr. Patron lets see how we can get this fixed would have sufficed. I felt that my persistence inconvenienced them and it definitely revealed What was important to them.

  Felt like being in a new friends home !

  Awesoml room, the building was a warehouse or factory and converted to the wonderful boutique hotel that it is. All the rooms are unique and full of character. Staff is accomodating and personable. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

  Boutique Hotel downtown Shreveport

  Upon entering the Remington you are greeted by friendly staff. The first floor has a bar, indoor pool, sitting area, conference rooms and Spa. They provide a light breakfast which includes cereals, fruit, juice and coffee. They also have pizza for late night munchies which the staff will make for you. I want to thank Megan for the exceptional service she provided to us throughout our stay. Megan is very sweet and always around when we needed her during our stay.

  Traveling with our dog

  Not always do you find a place that is this dog friendly. Great hotel, cool boutique room (each room is inspired by an artist) nice lobby bar and the rooftop area that is like a giant dog park. This place is top notch!

  Terrible! Do NOT stay!!!!

  Well, let me first give a positive! The owners are nice! It all went down from there! The marketing online seems amazing but the hotel is extremely grungy. We got sick from our room as it was hot (air not working) and probably mouldy. They tried to fix it but did not. Other Issues Sink was clogged Toilet didnt flush well No toilet paper Hair in bed everywhere List goes in - Its incredibly gross. The best part is, they didnt even take a dime off. If I was the hotel owner, I would of comped this room in a moment. Unfortunately, I have to review on several platforms to avoid others experiencing what we did.
