  Great place to stay

  Blast from the past!!!! The new owners have renovated and updated this Motor Inn from the past and it is a great place to stay. The management is very friendly and helpful and will go out of their way to please you. Remember that this is a Motor Inn from the mid 1900's and it is a little small but it was so cozy and extremely clean, and it was nice to kinda of go back in time to that era and remember how simpler times were then. I just want to thank the staff for a very pleasant stay and we are looking forward to our next trip to Bryson City and the Relax Inn!!!!

  Not bad

  Reasonably priced. Great location, close to shops and restaurants in Bryson City. A bit outdated and bathroom uncomfortably narrow but very clean in general except for bed covering which had stains resembling body fluids (yes,gross, sorry).

  Excellent Value - Spotless!

  We are in between cabins and needed a one night stay. We choose Relax Inn and are very pleased with our choice. Room was very, very clean in this troubled time of Covid-19. Direct-TV provides all the channel choices you might need. Wireless more than fast enough, 31.12 Mbps down, 11.88 up. Fridge very cold and small mic worded fine. Manager was on top of issues. Motorcycle pulled in to walkway in front of room and was promptly told to move back to parking place. Another bike pulled in after 10 PM quiet time rule with radio blasting, and that lasted about 3 minutes! We will stay here again as long as current management is in place.

  THAT!! Was not a mattress.

  We rented 2 rooms. Room 202 & 204. Price was high for what is offered. No iron or hair dryer in rooms.(must walk to office to get one). Coffee packs for 2, sugar & creamer for 1. Not nearly enough towels or wash clothes. No extra blankets. Teeny tiny bathroom. Door was cut out near bottom to be able to swing past the toilet. We drive a chevy van & had to park on grass. Parking spaces are for compact cars. Our daughter and grands stated that beds in 202 were comfortable. Room 204 was not. A rope bed and straw filled tick would have been better. I am in my 50s, am 5'4" and weigh 160bs. The other bed was persons that are nearly the same height and weight. I told my husband, this is not a mattress!! I like to take my grands to at least 1 old style hotel when we travel just to show them the difference from then to now. I've never been disappointed until now.

  Christmas trip

  We had to stay at this hotel in a quick way due to inclement weather and the hotel was nice but no heat ....we had to get the office guy to bring in extra blankets .After the guy left the room we saw two roaches and still couldn't get warm ....and a dead bug stuck on the side of the cabinet by the microwave....it wasn't worth the $ that I had to pay ...if it had not been an emergency we would have moved on
