  Noisy, impossible to relax

  Always noisy, impossible to relax, there are either night club downstairs with pumping techno or karaoke all night, drunk teenagers screaming and wandering around, or wedding that supposed to be over by 11pm, but nobody stops celebrating. Never ever gonna stay there again, this was my second stay - and this was all just the same, this time I was clever enough to leave around 11pm, because it was impossible to lay down and have a rest, what a waste of money. Staff are really friendly though, no complaints

  Best In Town

  Of all the properties that I have worked with in Zhytomyr, I would only recommend Reikartz. I have stayed here several times and have never experienced issues with cleanliness or quality of customer service delivered by the staff. The restaurant provides great meals at a reasonable price. The staff at this location are it's best asset. If I could recommend only one thing, it would be to try to add a couple of English speaking channels to the televisions :) Not a big deal...just bring an HDMI cable if you're an English speaker, and enjoy the huge TV that is in your room!

  Good Place, but could use improvement.

  Nicely-appointed rooms, nice atmosphere, decent restaurant with good breakfast provided as part of room rate. The negative is, like other Reikarzt Hotels, this one advertises that it's air-conditioned, but really isn't. Oh, the units are in place, but they are disabled by the hotel when they don't think you need them. Your only option then is to open the window and (a)hear all of the bar noise from the street below and/or (b) let your room ill with smoke from the burning leaves, trash, whatever it is that's ALWAYS burning somewhere nearby. Still, a good room for a good price, and w/out doubt the best hotel in town.

  One of the best hotels in Zhytomyr

  For sure one of the best hotels in the city of Zhytomyr, very centrally located, but at the same time in a quiet neighborhood, with well-decorated clean rooms, nice service (I havent seen recently so kind and always smiling receptionists and waitresses in Ukraine) and good breakfast for average prices. The hotel restaurant is also nice, we had a lunch there and apart from the salad everything was really nice. The hotel offers also numerous parking places next to it for free (there is also a guarded parking) which is also nice taking into account its very central location. I had also a nice view from my room window at a nearby church. The only issues I faced there were the not so good noise isolation and the low batteries of the room safe, I will for sure stay again at Reikartz next time when I am in Zhytomyr!

  Nice hotel, poor service.

  Had a disappointing stay last weekend, June 5,6. The location is very central and it seemed like the best option in Zhytomyr. The hotel is right next to a large park which happens to be a very popular hangout for the local youth. Loud music, screams and laughing continued well into the night, I managed to get to sleep at about 3 AM. Another issue is the hotels policy regarding air conditioning, the hotel has a central system which is not turned on until they experience temperatures over 25 degrees for a certain amount of days. Although the remote in the room works as it should creating a false sense of AC, no conditioned air actually comes out of the vent. I tried opening the balcony door but the noise outside was so loud that it was quickly eliminated as an option. In the morning I spoke to front desk and was notified of the AC policy, they apologized that I happened to be there during the switchover period. Since this is a pretty large chain I was hoping for some sort of a compensation. After numerous calls I was offered a 15% discount on my next stay. Seems like a joke considering the quality of rest during my stay. Personally I think I should have been notified during check in that hotel has no AC since it was 26 celsius outside. I have 4 more weekend stays in Zhytomyr but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
