Very nice hotel! It was a trip to Pochayivska Lavra. The hotel is situated very close to Lavra (5 minutes walking). Very suitable rooms, pleasant atmosphere and very nice people work there. They are always ready to help you and all their best to make your staying comfortable. Special thanks to Viktoriya (reception) and waiters, who were working 12-13.04.2014!

Excellent holidaysWe stayed in Reikartz hotel with our friends and children. First I'd like to admit we were welcomed by very friendly staff at the reception, as I've noticed after is very professional staff. The room was clean, it was a picturesque view from our balcony on the Pochaev lavra that was located 3 min walk from the hotel. The breakfast was very good, hot dishes and good coffee. The staff in restaurant was doing their best!!! They are great!! Thank you, Lena, Andrey!!!! Warm atmosphere, hospitality of personnel did our holidays at Pochaev unforgettable. With the great pleasure we would stay here once and once again!!

Great price quality value, but...we booked a Suite. It was supposed to have a couch and a fridge. Both weren't present. So basically you get an extra room with a desk and a desk chair. Not really interesting or useful. The room itself is OK. No paintings or other wall decorations. The bathroom is large, but strangely enough they chose to put in a tiny triangular (always annoying) shower cabin. The two best things about the room was the balcony (though we were on a low floor, so no real view.....actually on the parking lot. Strange for a Suite) and a small entrance hall to the room where you could hang up your coat and leave dirty shoes. The hall functioned as a sound blocker as the doors aren't sound proofed, something you don't see that often in new hotels anymore. We met 3 different reception staff employees. All seemed willing to help, but only one of the three spoke English. Unfortunately she was just leaving when we arrived, so I can't say too much about the service apart that they seemed friendly. A big problem when we arrived in the evening of Orthodox Easter was that the restaurant was closed. Staff were given a day off. Nearest restaurant was 30km. It was a pity we didn't know that earlier as we would have eaten somewhere along the route. Especially as Reikartz reservations contacted us on that day and the hotel itself. They could have mentioned that. We were told all restaurants were closed, but fortunately we found the hotel restaurant across the Lavra was open. Breakfast was great. Wide selection and staff were understanding when you needed a bit more time to eat. They let you continue in peace and asked if you needed anything particular. Friendly and good. TV in the restaurant set to a soap programme, which doesn't really add ambiance to the breakfast. People seemed happy with it. Must be a good soap opera ;-) The hotel has a lift for your heavy suitcases and is accessible via a ramp, albeit a curved shaped ramp. At reception is a sitting area where you can order drinks. Because of the lack of a mini-bar Ii wanted to get a beer at 23:15. Unfortunately they don't serve alcohol anymore after 22.00 o 23.00, can't remember exactly what it was. The hotel is basically at the doorstep of the Lavra. There is plenty of parking space. I wish the tourist tax was higher as the Lavra looks golden and new, but the village has seen better days. Even the park is not in a great state. And if I may say, it is not designed with the Lavra in mind. Trees block the sight on the Lavra if you sit on the benches to enjoy the view. But that's just an observation ;-) 1km away from the Hotel you will find a WOG gas station with a small mini-market. I would recommend this hotel. Price and quality are good. As long as you take above in mind, you won't be disappointed.

Nice hotel in a sacred placeConveniently located at the foot of the Holy Pochayiv Mountain. Just a few minutes walk to the gates of the monastery. Free parking on the territory. Friendly staff. No room service, breakfast is rather basic. If you drive by car - watch out - road from the central highway Lviv-Kyiv to the town is nearly non existent (such a shame to the regional authorities), about 50 km.
