  Classy and comfortable

  This is fantastic hotel, with a nice mix of hip chic and old-world class. The receptionist, Sergei, was EXTREMELY helpful and friendly, and the wait staff at the hotel restaurant we're also very attentive. Our server spoke fluent English and anticipated our American eccentricities. Our rooms was spacious and had a balcony over-looking the town. We did not use the spa, because our room had a giant tub to soak in on the chilly day.

  Comfortable with lots of amenities

  We recently stayed at this hotel during a family trip to Bad Gastein. The hotel is in a great location with views of the mountains. The staff are excellent, helpful, and friendly. We had two dinners in the restaurant, and several afternoon beverages, all were excellent! The decor is beautiful, the spa downstairs is a nice touch, and breakfast is great. Only down side is that some of the rooms are small and our shower was tiny. Overall, great stay and would definitely stay here again!

  Worst dinner of the decade

  Although we were staying in the hotel for 3 nights during the dinner it took more than 90 minutes to serve the meal. They were telling excuses but everybody was served except us. If you are a foreigner better to avoid this place.

  Choice Hotel

  Our first time at Das Regina in wintertime. We stayed on second floor and room size reflects the constraints of the older building, but charming none the less. We were in room 206 which has balcony with views. We walked from the train station to the hotel which took 10 Minutes all down hill. If walking, leave the station, turn left and head downhill, pass the Petrol station with it on your left. At Y junction immediately after it, keep left, pass the mini golf and the silver bullet pub and keep going down the road. Note its steep on the way down so use a taxi if you prefer. The tireless staff at Regina were awesome and made our stay really special. Restaurant also very good and serves dinner and breakfast from same area. Great library for a read of a book or use the mini cinema which seats 12 people. Inter was provided but was a little flakey at times. All in all a tremendous place.   Idylic gem with a beatutiful view - very close to the slopes

  We've enjoyed our stay very much at Das Regina and have had a wonderful skiing holiday. The Stubnerkogel is 10min by foot after having a nice breakfast in the morning with delicious tea, coffee and yummy German bread from the organic village bakery. The architecture of this old renovated hotel is very charming and unique, sits perfectly in the valley and you have a beautiful view. The room we've had was very charming like the whole hotel is. The staff is very friendly and we can't wait to come back. We miss it already! Very easily reachable by train! K&B
