  What you see in the pic is not what you get

  We booked 3 rooms from Oct 1 to 5 2014. The place is quite run down and in need of repairs. The rooms were musty and the linens were worn out. The bathrooms were all leaky and the washbasin taps seemed like they'd fall out with a slight tug. The complimentary breakfast is pathetic. There were cockroaches running around the bread and we started having breakfast outside after the second day. The only plus points are the pool and the proximity to the beach. They can definitely do a better job of maintaining the place.

  Very relaxing vacation

  I had a very good experience here. The rooms were clean, food was excellent and the staff were friendly and prompt. The beach is a short walk away from this property. Overall I had a relaxing vacation.

  Good value for money

  This is a very nice place to stay. The rooms are very nice and clean. The staff were efficient and responded quickly. It's a short walk away from the beach. The food is excellent. Overall it was a great experience.

  We stayed at tarrika's for 3 nights 4 days. Not a single day was our room cleaned. When bought to notice I was told that when guest go for breakfast the room is cleaned which was never the case. Somebody earlier wrote that there are cockroaches roaming around on bread which is true . The manager needs to go and have break fast in the restaurant to see it live. When I bought it to the waiters notice he just took a spray and put it where there was food. The only good thing is that the beach is near and food shacks there is good. Taxi service is advisable if you have good money to waste. They just charge too much. By the way we were said that we have superior room!!!!!

  Does not meet expectations

  My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and were disappointed in the first hour of our stay as the basin was leaking. Next we found that the room was very clean with cobwebs in a corner. The linens were stained. However, we brought it to the notice of the staff and everything was attended to promptly. Next, there was no breakfast buffet though it was included in the stay, but we were given to choose from the a-la carte menu. The beach is about 7 to 10 minutes from the resort, but there is only one shack. The other cluster of shacks are approx 1.5 kms away. There is a taxi stand right outside. The drawback here is that it is difficult to travel at night as there are no taxis available from here and the area is very lonely to walk through. Although the place and the surroundings were way below expectations, the staff was courteous and helpful. So our stay was not very bad after all.
