  Very old Room & furnishings

  My husband & our 9 year old son drove from Baton Rouge for a Beach vacation. The only available room was smoking which reeked of old smoke. There was a hole in the wall, cigarette burn holes in the bedding, very old/outdated appliances, tv & mattresses had stains. We only had 2 towels & a one tiny bottle of shampoo. However, the staff was very nice, air conditioner worked well & surrounded by lots of places to eat. I would not recommend this place unless it is updated.

  disgusting and filthy

  Todd Ivy reviewed Regency Inn & Suites 1 star 15 hrs · Absolutely the most disgusting room that I've stayed in in all of my 55 years. The bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. The sheets and mattress were stained with only God knows what. There were no doors on the closet. The drawers on the dresser were broken, and the sofa was stained and about 20 years old. We slept in our clothes on top of the sheets for 4 hours and made sure not to touch anything else to avoid disease! I'm sure just one trip from the Health Department would close this rathole forever. If you have to drive an extra 100 miles....avoid this sewer hole!!! Its making me select 1 star before I can post this, but its a 0

  NO HEART!!!!!!!!~

  OMG! My son n law, Darby Tree Service, is working clean up crew for hurricane and donating some of his services free for residents that he feels guilty for charging seeing the pain they are going through! Well, Regency had only 1 room for his 5 man crew so he took what he could get and got an air mattress. (2 hours from his work) They told him one night, and do not come back because he is 1 man over, so they got 2 rooms 2 nights later and paid ahead! They refused him the 2 rooms! What is the matter with these people??? This guy is 7 hours away from his wife with 4 little girls 7 and under to help with clean up and they refuse him a room? WTH???? HEARTLESS BUSINESS! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!

  No choice only thing available

  I was driving to Jacksonville from New Orleans and needed to sleep not thinking of hurricane Michael I stop at a few hotels that were completely booked and was sent to the Regency. I think they may have been taking advantage of the demand as the hotel is not worth what they were charging. The rooms need to be updated and they could use some new bath towels. I will say that my room was clean but I would not recommend it for the price.

  Dont Stay Here!!

  Booked the room a week ago, wife and I drove all the way from Texas, over 10 hours, just to arrive to find out that they cancelled our reservation and gave our room to someone else. Receptionist was very unprofessional and rude and not willing to help. My wife and I had to sleep in the car due to all the hotels within 3 hours being booked. Stay away from this hotel!! Terrible establishment
