  Loved Regatta Inn

  My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Regatta Inn. We loved that there were only a few rooms and not like a big hotel. Our room and all the areas were very clean. It was w/in walking distance to the beach as my husband and I walked to the beach every day. Daniel was especially helpful in bringing my luggage up. We were on the 2nd floor. All the amenities one would need were right there. We were on the garden side but still had gorgeous views. We could actually see the ocean from our private screen porch and loved the music they played outside. We frequented the Rooftop Terrace and could overlook the marsh. Our favorite thing was Happy Hour and the cookies that were left out for the guests. There are only 2 things that I would suggest but it won't stop me from coming back and that is a dumbwaiter or somethings to send your luggage up to your floor and a pool. I did miss not having a pool. Otherwise this was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed visiting Folly Beach!

  I wish I had more time to enjoy the hotel

  I arrived at the hotel one hour before final call and it was dark so I really did not have time to enjoy this hotel. The room was very nice, spacious, clean, with nice furnishings. The evening clerk was very pleasant. Other than a quick night's sleep I spent no time at the hotel.

  Private & Wonderful!!

  My husband & I stayed one night after spending our 36th wedding anniversary in the Charleston area. We were pleasantly surprised for a few reasons. This place is at the end of a very quiet road off the beaten path, the rooms were charming and updated, and the screened in patio gave us wonderful views of the sunset. We enjoyed our breakfast on the patio to the sounds of birds and lovely views of the water and blue skies. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and the hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend!!!

  My Happy Place

  Despite visiting Charleston for many years, I had never heard of the Regatta Inn. We usually stay downtown but we really love staying at the beach. Unfortunately, there are just not many affordable places to stay near a beach in Charleston. I happened to see the Regatta Inn on Hotels.com and it looked like the perfect place to stay. I was not wrong. To some, sitting on a screened porch watching boats in the marina, the marsh, the birds and maybe even a dolphin may seem boring to some people but to me it's Heaven! We've already scheduled our next trip.

  Wonderful Place

  Wonderful Place. Stayed at the waters edge a couple times, but this was our first time at Regetta. The property is beautiful. The Rooms are big and certain rooms have wonderful views. The rooftop terrace is also a great touch. Love the small features, the gas fireplace and the open concept. Breakfast is great and so is happy hour. Daniel at the front desk took great care of me and my wife. Booking the Olympus suite on our next trip!
