  While the cleanliness and organization isn't their strong suit, this place is absolutely stunning! Our families place was something out of a B-movie horror scene upon check in, but the view and spaciousness can't be argued! Great location for local restaurants and things to do. Added bonus... it's distinct red building on right side of facility make it easy to find while approaching!

  Beautiful & quiet - a few problems though

  Very scenic place to stay. It is off the beaten path- maybe a 15 min drive to the Ripleys/wonderworks area. This resort is located on St. Andrews bay. It has a beautiful 1/4 mile walk on a pier that leads you to a restaurant/bar called Pelicans. Nice quiet place to grab some appetizers & drinks. If you keep walking past the bar it leads you to a little beach on the bay. Very shallow & safe for kids to play in. It does have a lot of turtle grass everywhere though. There's also a marina there- you can rent pontoons, jet skis, or paddle boards. Lots of boat activity on this bay. I will say, the guy working at the marina wasn't the nicest person I've ever met- I was asking about prices & he kinda acted smart about it & made me feel stupid for asking. The pool here is amazing- So large & warm. There was hardly ever anyone in it and we went during the summer! The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated. Had carpeting throughout- Really felt like home. The balcony was nice too- very impressed with our room. Now, here's the bad part... we rented through a rental agency called vacasa which apparently manages several rental properties in the area. There was supposed to be a key fab wristband to gain access to the gated pool in our room, but unfortunately there was no fab in there! We went to the desk, and they couldn't help us. We called vacasa and they wouldn't help either. Their answer was "the guy who usually handles this is on vacation". Niiice!! Real professional vacasa!! Well, WE were also on vacation & wanted to use the pool we paid to use!!! So aggravating. Finally, someone swimming let us in the pool once, but that's just not right. We should've had access to use it anytime we wanted to!! So, with all of that being said, it's a very nice place, but do yourself a favor and don't book it through vacasa.

  Beautiful Setting - Vickie Provided Great Service

  Very good, beautiful setting away from the beach so it was a nice change from the norm. Service was great - Vickie at the front office was professional, courteous and accommodating. Will definitely book with Sterling again! Love the free movies.

  Something Salty is Tasty

  Funky outdoor venue with a Florida flair. Tasty food, fish tacos & crab cakes are awesomeness personified, but the atmosphere is delicious. Watch the sunset over the water as birds & porpoises float nearby. There is an air conditioned inside but youll want to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Occasionally theres music to add into the mix but all in all a complete delight!

  Great setting, beautiful views -- rented thru VRBO -- WHAT A RIP-OFF, never again!

  We rented a 2BR/2 Bath unit (#509) for a week (from Live the Gulf Coast Rentals) during the off season. The accommodations were well appointed but showing a little wear and tear. The cable connection in the Master didn't work and it took 3 days to get repaired. We had an awful experience with VRBO/LIve the gulf Coast -- after all of their fees, the price was 77% higher than stated on VRBO. The check in time is 4PM and once we finally rec'd the unlock code, tit wouldn't let us in until 405PM. If you want to check in an hour early, the charge is $100 -- even though the unit wasn't occupied! We'll never do business with VRBO again!
