  Excellent hotel!

  Hotel Krasny Terem is a good hotel with competent service, very convenient location either a fair walk or a short bus ride away from everything you want to see in St. Petersburg, when you at the best avenue in Saint Petersburg ,no need to take taxi for shopping centers or city attractions. 10 or 15 minutes to the shopping centers as well. Clean rooms. The weather was very nice. Try the Chineese place with excellent Sushi nearby. Bathroom is good, up to date and very clean. 3 min walk to Boat trips and river excursions on the waterways. If you don't wanna wastin' your time looking for a good hotel, I advise you to choose hotel "Krasny Terem".

  Poorly maintained hotel but well situated

  This is what is known as mini-hotel - a room where one can sleep. The rooms are dirty, relatively small and desparately cry out for urgent renovation. The rooms usually have standard size beds, bedside desks (ours were broken), room phone (was broken too), a small TV (very small and ridiculus), tight-size shower and an apprarent second-hand closet. In our room most furniture was broken and dirty, shower was functional but was barely holding on using a rubber band. The bathroom was equipped with a towel warmer (redudant, better fix the broken furniture) and also some industrial-looking soap and toilet-paper dispesers. Room does not have a safe (you can get one at the reception free of charge, but it will not be anchored to some sound place), free tea, cups and an electric kettle (you can get tea bags and sugar at the reception). There is also a small refrigirator, but keep your food in closed plastic bags. Hotel has free WiFi with limited BW and its surrounding is quite unpleasant. The hotel is 5 story building and has no elevator (!), so take this into account if you plan to come with heavy baggage or people with disabilities (inaccessbile!). Note that rooms for more that two people come with two story beds and a small kitchenette. In sharp contrast to the above, the hotel is well situated close to the Sankt Peterburg center and receptionists are very helpful and amiable. It is at a walking distance from a large variety of restaurants, shops of various typs and abou 15 distance walk of large shopping centers. Metro is at a 30 minutes walking distance and there is a nearby bus stop. So, I would not recommend it, unless you need a hotel at the city center at a low price and take the disadvantages into account.

  Location Location Location

  This hotel is the best location for traveling buses restaurants and bars The stuff were very helpful and order us taxi from and to airport in 1200 rubble The driver wait for us even with one hour delay that i send whatup massage to hotel to inform on delay Evgeny the reception men help in curry the bags and help with the bus numbers and direction he was very very nice The entrance to the hotel is not so nice and need to go by stairs 2 floors but the rooms are very comfortable The Breakfast was in restaurant of Russian food I enjoy my stay in the hotel very much

  Great location and convenience.

  Staffers are nice and tend to help, room is well equipped, decently furnished and convenient. TV has small screen, which does not matter much for many visitors. Air conditioner is powerful enough for very hot weather, though remote control requires some training. You may request and receive better cleaning. WiFi is stable on our floor.
