  small room, but clean and friendly staff

  I was nearby on a job and needed a place to stay. I picked Red Roof and found this hotel. The lady behind the counter was real friendly and got me into a room without any problems. I was in a single bed room by the vending machines. You could hear some street noise and the folks in the room next door. The room was small but comfortable. The fan in the bathroom sure was noisy and the shower did not work as well as I would have wanted, but it had good water pressure. There is a few fast food places and a gas station within walking distance of the hotel. I would stay here again if in the area.

  A BIG Improvement!

  I have to say that it seems like the owners have gone to great lengths to improve this property since we were here last. I didnt want to originally go here because of our last experience,but because it was so close to our venue, the price, and that we needed two rooms, I decided to go ahead. They replaced the nasty flooring and everything was much cleaner and rooms updated besides just a coat of paint. Was pleasantly surprised. Kudos for this much needed improvement!

  Mediocre but great for the price

  3/19/20 Stayed here since it was close to my next location for work. The room, bed and bathroom were all clean. But unfortunately, as all hotels have gone to minimum service, no breakfast was provided. The minus for the 2 stars is due to the smell of cigarettes in the room and the water not getting hot enough. Other than that, everything was fine.

  Dont go here

  I stayed here for a night because my boyfriends family kicked me out and I had no where to go the room smelled like really bad smoke there was smoke ash's every where the bathroom at ash's and the bed sheet had a burned hole in it the lady at the front desk was night enough to let me stay but damn

  One more chance

  We have stayed here many times in the past and it's been hit or miss. We always make our reservations a year in advance and this year all I have to say is ..get it right next year or we're gone. We spent a few years away because of how lousy our rooms had been. Last year was better then this year...our room WREAKED of cigarettes despite being a non smoking room. We were there for two nights and after we left, I felt like I'd been smoking myself. Front desk clerk told my husband " We usually put all the workers coming through town in the back because they tear up the rooms, you should have said something " Why should I ( or any of the others we travel with) have to when most of our reservations are made so far in advance? Also I knew that the hotel was booked for the weekend, so I figured there would be no chance of getting another room. Word travels fast...and in this day and age when so many in the hospitality industry are suffering.. every dollar counts. I guess if you decide to stay here make sure you get a room in the front.
