  Budget friendly, clean stay

  While returning home to the Hershey area, we decided to stay here for the night instead of continuing to drive another 2 hours. The check in process was quick and the room was very clean. We did not use any amenities of the hotel other than a stop at the hotel bar. Here we had a random night of drinking and dancing while the owner poured us some good drinks. Would crash here again if need be.

  DONT STAY HERE

  We have tried twice to work with the management and they refuse to answer. Our trip was for Friday, July 24, 2020 for 2 rooms at this hotel which evidently frequently changes their name. It was the Estya Hotel at the time. I was a bit leery pulling into the parking lot when we did not see the hotel name but the Quality Inn logo on a slightly deteriorating building. We were also concerned that there was only one other vehicle in the parking area. I do trust web recommendations normally and so we proceeded in and to register. My son, James, had checked in a few minutes ahead of us and assured us we were at the correct place. As the clerk spoke we were surprised that she was not sure the pool was available since she was not sure that the cleaning had been completed. She indicated that the management were planning to do it that day but she was not sure. The pool was one of the reasons we chose the hotel. In the process she answered another call and in that discussion mentioned that there was no breakfast. As she hung up I questioned her. She said because of covid there was no breakfast. I asked why, She replied the area was in yellow phase; a quick look at the web showed she was wrong. Breakfast being a second reason we booked the hotel, we began to call for other options. We found the Best Western Plus in State College's pool and breakfast were working ... admittedly with restrictions but working. We made reservations and checked in and found it to be a pleasant stay. We did ask for at least a partial refund; have been granted none as of October and am still glad we did not stay.

  Good Service

  Sri (General Manager) most likely saved my life. His genuine concern for my health and safety caused him to caution me about my 12:00AM wake-up call request. He scientifically described the formation of black ice as related to Interstate 80. Plus Sri is very pleasant to listen to. His job he loves as evidenced by the completeness and clean state of the hotel. Also Sabrina checked me in when the blizzard began, she was quite helpful and very kind.

  Very quiet Hotel. Loved the angel fountain in the lobby

  Very affordable clean room. The heat was turned on in the room & so it was pleasant in the cold weather. Sri at the front desk was very nice, professional & he was very accommodating. The Finnegans bar in the Hotel was a welcome reprieve for me. I will surely come back to the Hotel.

  Funny, joyful, clean & awesome stay

  From the time I entered, it was hilarity all the way. The GM Sri knows how to make people laugh. I was so tired with the travel, and with all the laughing my tiredness went away. The lobby angel fountain make it homely and warm when you enter. Finnegans' Bar was so nice, warm and just the ticket for the day. I had an amazing time in the hotel. The rooms were very very clean. Little dated perhaps, but service, cleanliness? Five star for this place.
