  Very pleasant stay

  Needed an overnight stop and after reading the reviews thought this would be a good place to try. First off, the owners were extremely friendly and welcoming. Lobby was bright and clean. Going by a previous review, we asked for a room in the back facing the open field as we had a dog. They had absolutely no problem accommodating our request. This is definitely an older property. However, our room was clean, nicely furnished and suited our needs perfectly. It look like there had been some redecorating. I have two small critiques. They provided a desk chair. However, it was a bit too large for the space. We just pushed it in a corner. The second thing is, from my perspective, pillows were kind a hard and too fat. Not a biggie but there it is. The area to walk your dog is really nice. It is on the back of the property. Theres a long open stretch underneath pine trees. The Pineneedles keep the weeds from growing and provided a soft surface to walk on. I would recommend one of those dog waste disposal containers. Yes, you do have to make sure theres always bags, but it is a nice thing to have. But we travel with bags. We had a light breakfast before leaving the next morning. The breakfast room was bright and clean. There was the customary regular and decaf coffee. A couple of different juices. Dry cereal with milk. waffle maker. Biscuits, sausage, gravy, small critique... turn up the heat underneath those buffet servers. Enjoyed our stop over and would definitely stay again and definitely recommend especially if you are traveling with dogs

  Clean friendly

  We were very pleased with our night at Red Roof in Childress. The evening clerk was very friendly. Clean room, comfortable bed. Breakfast wasnt bad for a free hotel breakfast. Morning clerk was super sweet! We would stay Here again.

  Pleasantly surprised!

  Stayed one night just passing through. The reviews were good so we gave it a shot. The rooms were recently updated and very clean. The beds were comfortable the water was hot and the price was great. Would definitely stay again if in the area!

  Good Stop on the way to Colorado

  Hotel was comfortable, clean, and easy to access. Park outside the door. Staff was friendly. Close to good food for dinner, and a great breakfast stop is in the same lot. Good shower, fridge, and basic amenities. Worth the stay.

  Clean and adequate

  Traveling with our dog left us two choices for a hotel for the night. $170 @ Hampton Inn ($50 pet fee) or $60 @ RRI (no pet fee). The Red Roof Inn is an old motel and shows it. However it was clean, spacious and dog friendly. The towels needed replacing and the room needs up dating but it was a good choice for a quick overnight stay while traveling. One last item to note. There was a funky smell when we first entered the room.
