Not again!Broken desk chair that twisted my back. Toilet running and top of tank askew. Looked in saw a rusted clip so hooked up the chain. Arrival desk staff was friendly how ever night/early morning was rude and obnoxious when trying to tell her about the chair. Turning her back on us and shaking her head like she shouldn't be bothered (wonder if she was rolling her eye's). No coffee pot in room nor in lobby?

Nice placeThis a nice place to stay. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds are super comfortable. Depending on what room you stay in. You have a gorgeous view of the mountains. My room had a private balcony. The breakfast is pretty good.

DisappointingJust ok. Poor customer service. Promised a shuttle for early morning flight, never came. Free taxi ride eventually came told me there would be no charge , delivered me late to airport and then charged me

Super Disappointed! My friend and I had booked this hotel as a stop on our way home from Grand Teton National Park to Portland, Oregon with our boys. Her son woke up that morning not feeling well but we were in an area where we didn't have reception to call the hotel. By the time we were in an area to make the call her son had a 103 fever so we decided it would be best to not expose anyone at the hotel given the pandemic we're in and drive the 13 hours straight home. They refused to refund our money stating it was less than 24-hours notice. This leads me to believe that this hotel is not following COVID-19 rules and I sure wouldn't want to stay there knowing they were okay with a possibly infected person staying there.

Clean and QuietStaying in any hotel during the pandemic can be fraught with troubles. The best way to handle the troubles is with a smile, and the people at the Red Lion handled things very well, with many smiles...you could tell they were smiling, even through a mask. The stay was also compounded by thick, heavy smoke from Oregon wildfires. Despite these factors, our stay was nice, even though the property could use some sprucing up, The grounds are not particularly well maintained, and there were little signs of neglect...tiles missing in the shower, and some pretty worn carpet. Of course the restaurant was closed, and no breakfast, but there was coffee offered at the front desk. The fixture in the shower made temperature control difficult. The room itself was comfortable and a good size. There was a fridge and microwave, but no coffee maker. Ice was available in a machine. It's kind of funny how the hotels we stayed at on this trip interpreted what they thought contributed to the spread of the virus and what didn't. Apparently ice machines were OK in some properties. Other places we stayed on this trip thought they were not. All in all, not a bad place for such a small town; and the price we paid was reasonable.
