Nice place to stayWe traveled to Twin Falls on business and the hotel was booked for us. First impressions were of a rather dated looking hotel and the girl at the front desk wasn't as polite as we would have liked. Although a little older in appearance, the rooms are clean and comfortable. Beds are comfy, AC worked well and the shower was nice. WiFi was a bit on and off. Fitness center had a nice selection. Would stay again.

Do not use Getaroom.com to reserve a room. Service fee price gouging!!I booked two separate rooms 1. using getaroom.com and the other from hotel.com. They room rate was the same but the service charge was $122.00 more than the hotel.com rate. The service fee added 50% on to the advertised rate. When I called to get it corrected, they said there policy was different than hotels.com. Meaning they charge way more than advertised. As for the room, not super nice, but comfortable and clean.

Dirty and not safeVery dirty dump of a hotel. The owners have no idea on how this hotel is functioning. Staff arguing in hallways, empty beer cans in parking lot for days. On our 3rd night we had a drunk guy slamming on our door asking us to open the door which was nerve wrecking. Front desk agents we encountered were all busy on their phones. Housekeeping left us dirty towels and sheets to make our own bed. Police seemed to show up for drug activity in parking lot almost all 3 evenings we were checked in. Not a place to stay in opinion. This is more for long term type guests who are up to no good. Owners were clueless or didn't seem to care

We didn't stay the nightUpon checking in, we entered a parking lot with empty beer cans littering the lot. While traveling to our room we noticed garbage over flowing in the halls and cigarette buds on the carpet. Once in our room we noticed hair on the sheets and a dirty bed spread. Refusing to stay in this room, I walked through the courtyard of dead grass, weeds and trash to be assigned another room. At this point I was done and my family got back in the car in search of another hotel.

Watch out for Ram at the Front Desk. He will blatantly lie to you to get more money for a room.We have been staying at the Red Lion for over 20 years. Most of the time, the stays are just fine for the price. We were about 4 hours out of Twin Falls and I called the Red Lion front desk to determine rates. I was advised that I could take my AAA discount ($10) off of the lowest price I could find online. I advised the nice lady on the phone that we would see her when we arrived. We arrived around 10:30PM. I approached the check-in counter and advised Ram that I would be using my AAA membership and found a great rate on-line. Ram looked at the rate and promptly told me that all King-Bed rooms were gone, so he could not honor the rate. He told me to find a rate for a double queen room. I went back to the car and told my wife that all the King rooms are gone. She was skeptical so she went in while I stayed in the car. Guess what? Ram magically found a room for her with a King Bed. However, he lied again and told my wife how lucky she was, as the hotel only has 6 King-Bed rooms (another lie). And, that he could not honor her AAA because it was a corporate room (another lie). Luckily, the helpful staff at the desk the next morning made the appropriate adjustments. RAM, you will cost your hotel more money with multiple lies, than simply treating them with respect. Cheating your clients will never pay off in the long run.
