  Average older resort in Coos Bay Oregon. Not worth what they charge but limited choices in the area so they can charge more. Location right in town. Kinda noisy because of all the motorcycles. That may have just been a busy time for motorcycles. Parking lot is big enough for big-rigs, there were several drivers spending the night. Staff was very nice.

  Older Hotel w/dated decor and no cell signal

  We stayed a week. Staff friendly. Rooms toward back of property are quiet. Got used to dated decor. We got fresh towels each day, but they dont make beds or vacuum. No laundry facilities, ice in only one of the half dozen buildings so I had to hunt for it. We have T-mobile and were lucky to get one bar anywhere on property. Couldnt make or receive calls, even in parking lot. Hotel WiFi too slow. Also there was a mistake on our bill checking out and the front desk clerk was not authorized to fix it. It ultimately did get fixed bc I asked her to call the manager while I waited, but this was inconvenient. I know cell service isnt motels fault, but it was a problem for us.

  Definitely not worth the price

  Not the friendliest front desk staff Ive come across, she didnt even give me the Wi-Fi code. When I got to my room it had this heavy musty smell because it had been closed up for a while. Unfortunately the air conditioning unit takes up half the wall and is extremely noisy. There wasnt much of a selection on TV as far as channels are concerned. The bathroom door wouldnt stay open, the fan is extremely noisy and you have to hold the handle down on the toilet until its completely done. Theres nothing in the rooms when you arrive to give you any information about the local area. The small refrigerator had a freezer that need to be defrosted, badly.And the only positive thing I can say is that the bed and the pillows are comfortable. Definitely not worth $150! Ive stayed in Motel 6s that were better than this.

  Amazing staff and affordable place to stay.

  We stayed here for 3 days. Kind staff, lower nightly rate due to visiting a relative at the hospital. Beds are comfortable. We were close to all places we needed to drive to. The hotel is quiet/peaceful. We had a small frig to keep drinks cold/microwave. I would definitely stay here again. The receptionists were very kind. The second night, they confirmed we were getting the lower rate since our mom was in the hospital.

  One step above Quality/Choice Hotel - 1503 Virginia Ave.

  We showed up without a reservation on Christmas eve to find most of the rooms available. We got a two room (suite?) which was ok. Nothing fancy, everything worked. The shower had a water reducer as most do which made rinsing your hair a slight problem but doable.
