  Great Hotel, Highly recommended

  We stayed in the penthouse room for 4 nights - the room is lovely. It is really spacious, relaxing and very well decorated. (It is difficult to see from photographs how spacious the room actually is) Great views of the beach from the terrace and bathroom are also a bonus. All staff at the hotel were all extremely helpful and helped us organise everything we needed - they recommended good places to visit and eat and also arranged a scooter for us. Breakfast every morning was also very good! It takes a few minutes to drive to Kenting Main Street (around a 20 minute walk) very easy to get to. The hotel is perfectly located to the beach and for exploring the surrounding area. We would definitely stay here again.

  Paradise

  This hotel was conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy part of Kenting, yet it was close enough to get there via a short taxi ride. The hotel offers gorgeous sea views, beautifully decorated rooms, luxurious bathrooms, leafy gardens, lovely private decks, delicious free breakfast, and best of all, quick access to the pretty little beach just across the road. In addition, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Kenting!

  Wonderful little tropical oasis!

  The Red Garden Resort is a terrific little bed and breakfast! We spent five nights in the penthouse suite as part of our honeymoon. This special room is very spacious, light filled and sensuously decorated. We enjoyed the huge tub with floor to ceiling windows/ glass doors, offering beautiful views of the ocean and terrace gardens. We also spent lovely evenings on the huge private terrace, taking in the ocean views, stars, pleasant breezes and the sounds of breaking waves. The grounds of the entire property are beautifully designed and maintained, with various lush tropical gardens, including small ponds with water lilies and gentle fountains. The manager, Maggie, was exceptionally helpful, e.g. arranging our carpool to and from the train station, organizing a yoga mat for my use, and suggesting several terrific local restaurants. Other staff members were also very nice. Breakfast is western, plentiful and simple, with a slightly different offering each day. Service at breakfast and in room cleaning is basic. We had an issue with inadequate room cleaning once. Upon informing the front desk, there were sincere apologies and the problem was eradicated immediately, with no further issues. One suggestion we have is to install more lighting in the stairway. Placing several more, similarly styled lights as those presently there would be a significant improvement, both aesthetically and in terms of safety. The location of the Red Garden Resort was ideal for us. Its about 3 km from the main drag and hustle and bustle in Kenting, yet close enough to various restaurants, beaches and sights by moped or car. There is somewhat regular bus service in the area. After giving the bus a try in the first two days, we decided to rent a moped at the little stand right in front of the resort, and were very glad for the mobility and flexibility this afforded. We recommend the Red Garden Resort wholeheartedly. Staying there was a truly lovely experience.

  Perfection! Highly Recommended

  What a wonderful experience! My family, my sisters family, and my parents (10 total) had the privilege of staying that this quaint and beautiful property. The owners are artists and made the property so nice. Right across from a beautiful beach made it a perfect place to stay. We didnt want to leave. What really made the property so memorable were the manager and staff worked there. They took us in and made us feel like weve been living there for years. Thanks so much Maggie, you made our trip to Kenting so memorable. We will never forget it. Cant wait to go back again!

  Ok but nothing special

  I spent 2 nights here. My room was comfortable, and quiet. The wifi worked ok, but dropped occasionally. Tge bed was comfy. The bathroom (which had no door) was extremely cramped, and the floor was painted black (with many chipped paint spots). Shower had good water pressure and lots of hot water. The toilet was very finicky and refused to flush unless i held the button for at least 10 seconds. The breakfast was easily the worst aspect. Runny eggs, soggy bacon and weird smelling ham, served with diluted juice on a table crawling with ants. I skipped the breakfast on the 2nd morning. The location is ok, but the entire neighborhood is crammed with small guesthouses with no land or space. Its a 10 minute drive into town.
