  Decent business hotel

  A centrally located business hotel in the Central Business District. Nice rooms suitable for business travel. The breakfast buffet is rather disappointing with a poor spread and bad service. Front desk check in experience was excellent. My friend made a mistaken booking and arrived a day after her booked room. They honored the room and even gave her an upgrade to a huge suite.

  Great place

  Stayed here 3 nights, one of the nicest hotels I've been to in Nanning. First room smelled of smoke, asked for a nonsmoking room and the second room was perfect. I find it typical in China to have a hotel room that smells like cigarettes so it never surprises me. Breakfast is better then most buffets in Nanning. I'll stay here again. Bed was amazing, slept so well.

  Comfortable stay in the heart of Nanning!

  Spent four days in Red Forest Hotel. Generally, everything good. Reasonably efficient check-in. Lobby is nothing special, but simple and OK. Rooms large with huge bed. Linens fresh and comfortable. Bathroom shower small, but plenty of hot water. Toiletry provided OK. Very good breakfast buffet... far better than most in China, including lots of international choices. Staff are friendly. Location is short walking distance to major shopping mall.

  Restaurant as the lobby - Best taste restaurant

  Came just for food at the lobby. One of the staff is excellent - Lyla Li. She did more than what her job scope is. I also requested to look at menu at the different restaurant (for my next few meals) within the hotel - and she went and got it for me. She was patience because I can't speak well in Chinese. I can recommen the avocado and passion fruit drink. I'll come back for this. The round pastry with yolk inside is good as well. On the other hand. The mushroom soup was bad. The medium rare steak was served as well-done. I was too hungry and just ate it. The chips are not edible at well. After my meal the waitress asked for my comments. She apologized and gave me a box of cookies. Good customer service. Don't worry for tge box of cookies i checked and it's not deducted from her salary.

  Red Forest is value for money

  The Red Forest is well situated and a very pleasant hotel to stay in for some days. A large room, well equipped bathroom with all one can wish, and smiling staff. Check-in and check-out worked well and fast. The breakfast offered a large choice, however bread was simple and cheese missing - so a European will have to keep the eyes open for new experiences. At a reasonable price, the Red Forest offers good vale for your money.
