    Overnight stay

Booked for one night to go to the theatre in Pitlochry, The room was nice, and the shower was good. When we arrived the radiator was not working,we were quickly supplied with a portable radiator, which heated the room well. Nice breakfast in the morning, fresh orange juice Car parking outside for about 10-12 cars Would certainly go back.

    hospitality at it's finest

We are a family of 5 and were on a roadtrip from Brighton to inverness. It was about 7pm at night and after failing to find a place to camp we stopped of at the red brolly inn to enquire about rooms. We encountered the owner and the mangerand were immediately made to feel welcome even though they were busy completing the refurbishment and not officially open. Luckily for us they had 2 rooms made up as we needed a room for our 3 teenagers and another for myself and my husband. The owner showed us the rooms which were both ensuite and freshly decorated and well equiped. We were very happy with the price and as a beautiful touch the owner said he would include dinner and breakfast for all 5 of us. To be honest we were not expecting fine dining but that is exactly what we got. A 5 star 3 course dinner which was obviously cooked by a professional chef at the top of her game. The next morning the chef served us a bespoke breakfast of omlette , cooked scottish breakfast alongside fresh fruit and cereal . We had nothing but 5 star service from all 3 of the staff. They demonstarted what hospitality should be and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel , if for the fine dining and hospitality alone. We left feeling refreshed and very well looked after! I understand these guys have just taken over the hotel and all I want to say is keep doing what you are doing! Thankyou for an amazing stay.

    Dining

Stopped for food on Saturday 22nd August didn't realise it had been taken over, we were more than surprised when we could get a table no bother. The place has had some renovation work done since the last time we were there the staff could not have been more attentive and pleasant, they were doing a 4 course taster menu for £20 per head which we thought was good value for money. We had a vegetarian with us and they were amazingly helpful and tended to his needs, the food was absolutely amazing and presentation was superb this was by far the best locally sourced produce we have tasted, we can't thank them all enough for the beautiful food and experience and will be back soon. Some photos of our food.

    Overnight trip.

We have been to the Red Brolly a few times and it now has new owners who are giving it a face lift. It is now fresh and inviting. The only downside was that the room was very cold as there was no heating. In the morning we wanted a cup of tea in our room but there was no milk. I phoned reception but got no answer.. Breakfast was ok but very frugal. We will go back again though as it is handy for visiting our family.

    Really great food

Under new ownership and being renovated though the crisis. Really excellent food in the restaurant. 4 courses for £20 in best Copenhagen style - local, fresh, wild etc. Worth a special trip just for this. Very attentive personal service., under semilockdown conditions too. Just off the road, so not the place to work to the wild out the foront door, but easy to find easy to park. Close to all the beautiful sights of Perthshire.
