  Overnight business

  Warm and comfortable stay. Wood fire was welcomed and well needed as it was cold. Hostess a delight and knowledgeable of surroundings and even drove me around the town to points of interest. A 2 minute walk to the town hub for every shopping need. Would stay again.

  We recently had a single night stay in upon arrival appeared to be a quaint country cottage, furnished with cottage style furniture. The bedding and couches are ready for the local opportunity shop, well worn and very uncomfortable. The floor in some of the unit had a significant camber so take it easy at the local hotel as the sloping floor might exacerbate the hang over. The shower is situated over a large spa requiring considerable manoeuvring to get into the bath. Once in if your above 6ft tall youll bump your hands on the low ceiling when your trying to wash your hair. All in all it was a very convenient place to stay while visiting RICHMOND. It is certainly not a 4+ Star facility, rather an average 3

  Wonderful home away from away

  Weve been travelling around Tassie and spent the night in Richmond. Found this great cottage to spend the night. Host was incredibly helpful and met our every need. Provided us with food to cook a hot breakfast, bacon, eggs, tomato, toast and cereal if you preferred. Bed was comfortable, shower hot there was even a spa bath. The cottage had a fireplace and heater. The fire kept the cottage beautiful and warm and our host had the heater on when we arrived so it was nice and warm. Would highly recommend staying here. Couldnt ask for more

  Authentic rustic heritage cottage

  Authentic rustic heritage property with a ton of charm and and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Was really surprised by some of the negative previous revioews nd wonder what these people were thinking. Yes the furnishings are not brand spanking new, they are old and authentic and full of charm like the property. But everything is clean, the property is huge and very well equipped and in center of Richmond. What you have here is loads of timber and character, extras like a slow combustion fire and spa, laundry, 2 bedrooms. My advice, if you are a prima donna that insists on everything brand spanking new and spotless, then this place might not be for you, but if you appreciate rustic character, this place will be ideal

  A hidden gem

  What a lovely surprise, could not fault this accomodation. We took the villa as there were 4 of us. Spotless, everything we needed, plus more. Lovely garden away from the main drag, so quiet. It was situated on the main road, but you would think you were far away from civilisation. We spent only 2 nights as it was to avoid drinking and driving. We were attending a gin tasting at newly opened Killara distillery. Our B&B host acted as taxi. What a great way to know you can enjoy an event, and not having to worry about transport. So all in all a great stay, great accomodation, great gin in good company
