  Good place to stay if you are out on tour the whole day

  We used the hotel merely as a place to rest , freshen up and get breakfast since we were on tour the whole day. We leave early morning and get back late at night. For that reason, I recommend the hotel since it is clean and all the basic needs expected from a hotel is available. There is a convenient store beside it so you really don't need room service which they do not offer. Wifi connection is strong. The hotel is quite far from the shopping areas of Seoul, but it is accessible since a bus stop is right outside the hotel. Breakfast is available but being a value hotel, the choices are really not that many and they do not vary daily. Its the same food served every morning with minimal changes from time to time. But it does help you fill your stomach before the tour begins so it really is acceptable. One problem is the lack of elevators. They only have 2 available for all the guests. They are always full during breakfast time, so you have to allot a bit more time to get up and down especially if you have a schedule to keep. We discovered that you can use the service elevator as well, but it is not being announced to all, so use the service elevator in case you are in a hurry.

  Average Dongdaemun hotel

  Stayed here for 2 nights. The room is clean and tidy, but feel a little bit outdated. I stayed in another hotels near Dongdaemun before, and I found out that many other hotels provide more modern amenities compare to this hotel. Breakfast was good, although they tend to serve the same food everyday. During my stay, wifi didnt work properly. Sometimes the signal was loss, and reconnecting took some times. Overall, if you just stay for one or two night only, then its okay to use this hotel.

  Nice hotel

  The hotel caters to so many tourists from different countries,its always busy. I commend all the staff,because they are all hardworking. And even their hotel is busy,they still accomodate guests smiling. Though the breakfast is always the same menu,but its delicious so its ok. Near convenience store and bus stop.

  Excellent for accommodations

  I booked the standard double room for seven nights in my vacation to Seoul. The location of the hotel is quite good for me. The nearest metro exit(exit 1 in Janghanpyeong station of line 5) is about 400m walk. It will take a 800m walk from the airport bus 6013) which includes a traffic light crossing on your way. This hotel is not close to any card(1,250 won by T-Money). There are some convenient stores, cafe and Korean restaurants(some open 24 hours) within 10 minutes walk. It would be impractical to expect a list of numerous choices of restaurants. The room is clean with sufficient space and furniture for two adults. If you require a 40 sq meter room with a large leather couch and a meter by meter table, may be you should stop reading and book Four Sessions Hotel Seoul which cost you a humble exceed of ten times. If you, like me, just need a safe and clean place to stay for the night while spending most of the daytime in shopping or sightseeing, make sure you give the Recenz Dongdaemun Hotel a check. Their room rate is very friendly. Moreover, rooms are cleaned up everyday. However, be reminded that only one room card will be allocated to each room booked when checking in.   Excellent look from the outside - Medium service from the inside

  If you look from the outside street, you will say "wow" for this very tall building. However, the inside service is not quite as classy as it may look. Because there is not enough staff at the Front Desk as well as the Restaurant. The Front Desk looks messy with a lot of papers, documents, luggages, hangers, clothes.. The Restaurant is operated with staff in random uniform. Not uniformity! I would recommend this hotel for the location and well equipped rooms. They are very worthy, I love it!
