  Los bungalows estan bien, todo limpio y cuidado... Para desayunar necesitas una hora, tardan muchhisimo y se les pide alguna tortilla mas aun! En las cenas mas de lo mismo... Nos llevabamos el parchis para hacer el tiempo porque tardaban una hora en empezar a servir. Casi nadie habla ingles, solo el encargado del restaurante y uno de los camareros un poco. Lo peor del hotel es la playa, era horible, sucia y llena de algas, el color del mar no tiene quever nada con un sitio paradisiaco, y la marea varia, por las mañanas se mete mas de 20 mertos para dentro.

  Very disappointing

  Nice jungle, garden but Very disappointing I was thinking about to be in the nicest hotel of the island The room is very big good point But not enough light Air conditioner doesnt work properly Soap very very small Linen and Bathroom towels very bad quality Beach really not exceptional Breakfast is very simple

  Wonderful hotel

  Speedy and smooth check in. We were greeted with a cold cloth and drink while the receptionist filled in our arrivals paperwork. Amazing huge spacious bungalows with air con, lovely bathroom. Gym and pool were good. Staff in gym offered to help etc. Food was excellent from breakfast until dinner. Good cocktails! A truly wonderful place to relax on the island. Beach by the hotel wasnt the best for swimming but walking 150m further down was great.

  WOW!!!

  What a place! I just returned from a week at Ravintsara and did not want to leave. The resort is gorgeous; the buildings are all separate traditional thatch-roof Bures or Bungalows and the grounds between them are perfectly manicured and extremely lush. Due to the density of vegetation you can't see further than a few dozen meters in any direction so the resort feels very private and personal. We happened to visit during the start of the rainy season which was a double blessing as my pasty-white skin was a bit more protected from the sun by clouds and the resort was almost completely empty. They have 38 guest bungalows and I believe only four or five were occupied during our visit so the peace and privacy were incredible. The guest bungalow was large and beautifully appointed. We were in Bungalow 8 which faces the ocean, is less than ten feet off the beach and about 20 feet from the surf. Even with the windows closed and AC running we were lulled to sleep by the crashing of the waves at night. Heavenly. Outside we had two loungers, two chairs, a bench and a table. Inside we had a large canopy bed with Mosquito nets, a large curved sofa, walk-in shower and jetted jacuzzi tub. The traditional hand-hewn beams in the ceiling were mesmerizing and I ended up leaving a few lights on at night so I could stare up at them. We ended up eating the vast majority of our meals at the on-site restaurant as the food was great and the service excellent. The menu changed each day and featured Zebu steaks, Duck Confit, Lobster and other seafood options. The breakfast buffet was nice and offered made-to-order omelettes. The servings were large and I never left the restaurant without being full. The on-site spa is an oasis within the oasis, it's bures are located on individual islands surrounded by Lilly ponds and a one-hour full body massage ran about $31US so naturally I went almost every day. The pool is large and features a separate shallower kids pool which was blessedly unused as I did not see a single child on the property during my stay (hallelujah!). The pool also abuts a swim-up bar area but it was not open during my visit. I found the pool a little too chilly for my taste and only used it once. The beach fronting the hotel is not a picturesque white-sand beach but rather more of a tidal sand flat. It is pretty view but not particularly swimmable. One thing that really stood out while laying poolside was how incredibly quiet the hotel is. All I heard was the wind in the palm trees and the surf crashing onto the beach. Of all the beauty and quality of the resort the highlight is the staff. Everyone is friendly and extremely attentive. We were amazed how people would just appear with cushions every time we sat in a lounger and how the room was serviced multiple times per day. Once we ran to the lobby to ask about an excursion we had booked and the room was completely cleaned in the five minutes we were gone. The front desk helped book us trips to Nosy Iranja (worth the rough boat trip) and Lemuria Land. I really can't say enough nice things about this place; it's perfect!

  Best experience - Paradise on Earth

  I was booked in room 36. Ravintsara hotel is located in Nosy Be. I made my booking online. The staff was very supportive and spoke good English. Her name is Ms. Njaratina. The ambiance, enter staff, food and drinks...words cannot explain. I would recommend anyone planning to visit Nosy Be to try Ravintsara hotel experience.
