  Great meal and service

  We walked along South Queensferry High Street and spotted this cafe up on the terrace and decided to go in for something to eat after our boat trip with Forth Tours. We were warmly welcomed on entering, I had a great all day breakfast (at 1..30pm) and my wife had soup and a sandwich. Delicious and very filling. We would definitely return if in the area. Highly recommended.

  Very small cafe

  This is a very small cafe but there is seating outside. It wasn't busy but waited a long time for our food. We ordered the all-day breakfasts and it wasn't that great. We didn't get all of what it said on the menu. The staff were lovely though and it's in a lovely location.

  Delicious

  Went for early breakfast and sat outside in the sun. Had the veggie breakfast with sausages, beans haloumi , mushrooms and peppers and two pieces of toast. Absolutely delicious!! Not cheap but well worth it with polite young servers. Defo return!

  Unclean, unpleasant and unwelcoming cafe

  Visited here today with my family. Was greeted at door by a rude woman telling us at 2pm it was only coffee and cake left, which was fine as it's all we wanted she then let out a massive huff and said well you'll need to wait until I clean a table. Again fine, we waited outside and again she said its only coffee and cake left. Ok I'm now sensing she cant be bothered serving us but we sat down. Without any explanation if we order at counter or at table she walked out of the cafe and crossed the road. So I asked the ruder old woman in the back how we order and she said when the other woman comes back she will take our order but remember its only coffee and cake....I sense they really didnt want our business...(in times like these too when small businesses are crying out for custom!) I looked at my partner in disbelief in the tone and manner we were being spoken to she then shouted over the cafe on front of other customers eating if there was something wrong with me as I had a look on my face! Of course I did I have never come across ruder more unprofessional and utterly disgusting customer service in my life! At that point my partner said no way were they getting a penny from us so we got up and walked out. Its places like this that deserve to close their doors for good not the great little other businesses doing their best. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...maybe of they cleared tables as they went instead of letting everything pile up she wouldn't have had such a huge task to seat us!

  Brilliant

  Just been with my wife. Fantastic cafe with lots of gluten free options. The gluten free cheesecake with blackcurrant compote and whipped cream was particulrly good. The staff were particularly friendly and attentive. Will return soon.
