  Very nice stay

  Stayed here for 2 nights. Hotel was very nice and clean. Employees spoke English so that was very helpful. Breakfast was very good! However, restaurant prices on the resort very over priced! $25 for a small thin crust pizza..,$6 for a cup of coffee! Hotel location is the downfall! It's about a 45 minute drive from the airport and is in the middle of nowhere. There is a beach about 5-10 minute drive away other than that, you'll need a taxi. The island is very spread out so a taxi or rental car is a must. Oh, and loved the gym. There is no outdoor pool and you have to pay to use the indoor aqua pool. Overall, great stay but the location sucked. Will stay closer to airport and city next time. There's more to do over that way without a car or taxi. Gave it 3 stars because of location.

  VERY isolated

  Hotel rooms are comfortable - the bathrooms are well equipped. There is only one restaurant on the hotel - it's OK, but nothing special. Breakfast was really quite grim. The hotel setting is very nice with a gold course surrounding it - but beware that this hotel is extremely isolated. There is absolutely nothing that you could walk to and a car is essential. We ate out of the hotel on the second night and it was a 20 min drive (passing not much in the process). Staff have very poor English.

  Comfy Stay in Jeju!

  The hotel & resort was pretty difficult to find (maybe because we arrived in Jeju pretty late and it was dark!) but once we find it, the exterior design was really nice! We checked in and our room was spacious with a balcony for us to relax (but it really chilly so we didnt!) The bed was comfortable too. Breakfast was limited though but that was alright since my partner and I weren't such big eaters! Recommended place to stay!

  Secluded Golf Resort

  We were on a week anti-clockwise self-drive tour around Jeju Island. Raon Hotel was our second stop after our arrival night in Jeju City. We checked-in the hotel after visiting Hallim Park and Hyeopjae Beach. This hotel was located in a secluded area with a well-built entrance gate manned by welcoming security guards. It exuded a private country golf club feel. The whole hotel and rooms were spacious, clean and well furnished. There were quite a number of residential blocks behind the hotel main block which I guessed were serviced apartments. We could see some golfers in action in the morning. Unlike accommodations in Jeju city and Seogwipo, there were ample parking lots in the open. Views from the rooms were mountains in the distance, golf courses and man-made lakes. Quiet and serene. The only imperfection was there was not enough towel rack in the bathroom. There was additional charge to use the hotel pools. There was a hotel restaurant. Other dining options were located along Heopjae Beach (10minutes drive away) which tend to close as early as 9pm except for some pubs which might not be suitable for young children.

  Good hotel for family

  Beach is not too far but is a bit far to walk. Very calm and clean. Convenient store is on the 1st floor and has so many kinds of product. We could not use that spa nor pool. Breakfast was just normal. There were not that many kinds of food but not that bad.
