  Rani beach "Resot"

  Lo unico que vale la pena del hotel es la piscina. Las habitaciones no estan mal pero caras por lo que son! No comer en el restaurante, es carisimo y pesima calidad. Por el precio de una persona en el hotel comes dos en cualquier restaurante con bebida incluida (O2 por ejemplo). En general negombo es bastante feo, lo unico bonito es la calle con tiendecitas!

  Value for money

  No es un resort, es n hotel sencillo pero esta adecuado al precio. Limpio (sobre todo despues de haber pasado por otras experiencias en la zona) y de habitaciones amplias. Con a/c y ventilador, el baño amplio y bien. No tiene wi-fi en las habitaciones, sólo en el restaurante. La piscina amplia y las camas de sol agradables. Muy bien ubicado, cerca hay tiendas y restaurantes turísticos (recomendamos Tastee's, mariscos y cerveza por buen precio). Y a 20 mins del aeropuerto. Sólo el desayuno muy malo, deben mejorar.

  Do not stay here - avoid

  Worst hotel weve stayed in ever (and weve travelled a lot). 1 ill fitting and slightly too small flat sheet on the mattress which came off during the night so we ended up on the bare mattress (just uggh). To cover ourselves we had a single sheet to share between 2 people (I kid you not!!!). Plenty of mosquitos and no mosquito netting. No hot water for showers. Extremely loud music from a never ending evening event held at the resort and also the next days lunch time poolside event was out of control - so loud that we could not enjoy the facilities or sleep at night. Staff were nonplussed and did not display any care for the comfort of their hotel guests. Meals were inconsistent - ordered the same thing at lunch and dinner time and was totally different. Neither great. Just avoid this place. The hotel pool has the words RANI BEACH RESOT written with darker coloured tiles at the bottom of the pool. Nuff said.

  Best Food , Best Service & Best In Negambo

  RANI BEACH HOTEL. It's is in Negombo , Sri Lanka !!!! We had stayed there for two day during round tour with indian clients !!! It's is a decent Beach resort which some good amenities !!! While we check in they provided black tea as welcome drink in reception !!! Then we headed to our room which was quite big and spacious with attached bathroom and a big balcony with beach view with some chairs !!! The room has Ac, Tv, a cupboard , and a dressing table!!! Dinner is good but quite expensive since all hotels in and around that area is expensive !!! We had some sea food which was delicious !!! Then coming to morning we had a morning beach walk just behind our resort which was quite romantic and then coming to breakfast it was buffet and had quite good varieties of food with juices, bread , omelette , potato fry, sausage and some American dishes which was awesome !!! The swimming pool is clean and we'll maintained !!!! But the only disadvantage is No Lift is available there !!! It should be noted that they treat drivers as if they were guests!!! Overall good experience. Highly Recommended For Foreign And Local Visitors !!!

  Nice setting

  The setting and pool are really good and the staff really helpful. The negatives are the state of the rooms, mine was very dark and dingy and the shower was horrible, glad I was only there for one night at the start of an Intrepid tour
