  This is NOT 4 STAR - Its DIRTY and LOW QUALITY

  I booked this hotel as I travelled from Khao Lak to Phuket with my wife to go to Patong Beach, and check out the Chillva Night Market, so we need a hotel just for one night. I looked online and saw Rang Hill Residence. The hotel was advertised as a four star hotel and was not expensive at all, this should have served as a warning! As the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". After exploring Phuket we made our way to the hotel, late in the evening. After we checked in, we were taken up to the room. When we got in the room, to say we were underwhelmed , it is an understatement. The room was quite compact and there was a small balcony with a generator or air con unit that took up half of the space and made a lot of noise. The minimum I expect is a clean room and bed. However, when we checked our room, this was not the case. The duvet cover on the bed had stains on it and so did the net curtains. The floor was cracked in the main room, and the wall had scratches along it. As for the bathroom, the shower looked liked it needed to be cleaned BEFORE you got it in! The room was a combination of dirty textiles, bad decor and a bathroom that is in need of renovation! This was not a 4-star experience, don't be fooled. The room was so dirty that we went straight back downstairs and demanded a refund and had to pay £40 on a taxi to go back to Khao Lak. Do yourself a favour and book another hotel.

  would not recommend

  We booked here for a few nights as it was convient place for us to see monkey hill and go to an elephant sanctuary anything else is a far expensive taxi ride away. We had a problem with our air con and safe, the safe was fixed straight away but they said the air con was working fine. 2am in the morning we had a river coming out of it and to turn off and sweat during the night. The cooked breakfast was very cold and my other half was very ill the day we left and the only thing he had eaten was the chicken they offer at breakfast! Booked a taxi to the pier through the hotel and the man who picked us up did not look up from his phone once when driving and didnt wear his seatbelt so the beeping noise was on the whole time, very irratating. There were a few holes in the bed sheets but the bed was very comfortable. Would not recommend.

  Buen alojamiento con desayuno espectacular

  La habitación era estupenda, grande y limpia. El desayuno continental súper abundante con mucha variedad. Alquilan motos para poder recorrer Phuket de la mejor manera. Cerca hay algunos lugares para comer o 7eleven para comprar comida.

  The bed is the only good thing here

  So this hotel isnt just a hotel, people live here as well! Some rooms with the tourists photos on are hotel rooms and some without are residents. The residents let their friends and families have copies of the keys so people can come in and use the facilities when they please. This is a negative because we had items stolen from us by the pool. The hotel searched their cctv and tried to find the people but as they werent guests there was nothing they could do. They gave us money for the items stolen and were sympathetic but said it happens and theres nothing they could do. Theres a gym and a pool, both over looked by the balconys of the guests and residents. Big carpark under the building, manned by a boy who is also the bell boy and the carpark isnt locked. The rooms are clean, and the beds are amazing, towels, coffee and water all supplied but NOT pool towels so either bring your own or use the shower towels. If you shower at peak times theres NO hot water and expect a cold one. Although we were on the 6th floor I have to say it was really quiet and no noise from any other guests. This hotel isnt near anything, theres a few Thai huts for food and a mini mart (shop) down the road turn left. We walked around the area for a good few hours on our first night and couldnt find much at all the night market was closed and finished before 9pm. We got a taxi from the hotel to Kata Beach which was 800B for 5 of us. Kata beach is lovely and has a huge food/clothing market all the way along the promenade/road. There is also a surf simulation here, many shops 7/11, mini marts pizza cafe etc lots for kids to do. We rented a paddle board for 300B 1 hour. Jet skiing, boat rides, all sorts. The breakfast didnt look that appetising to us, it may for you, served was fruit croissants toast a curry stir fried veg fried rice hot dog sausages and fried eggs. We arent sure on the price sorry!   Spacious room, great location, a bit hard bed

  We stayed one night in the junior suite. The room was very spacious with separate living area and bedroom. The bathroom could be improve as the room we got was the one with shower over bathtub type so it was hard to shower without feeling all slippery. There was fridge but no microwave. Hardly amenity provided so BYO. Swimming pool and gym looks nice but we didn't use any. The bed was a bit hard but quite big. We didn't had breakfast so not sure how the breakfast was. Plenty of parking onsite but not underground (outdoor). Road towards the residence was a bit clustered but to be expected for city location. Overall it was good stay for good price.
