  Adequate family hotel

  If you travel alone and not require a five star hotel then this is acceptable. The room is old, equipment is old, bathroom is old and doesn't have hot water (I know it's tropical country and hot most of the time but still). Funny thing is my room have the bathroom looking straight to the main street.

  Just what I needed

  Perfect if your staying s couple nights, good location and rooms for 150,000 or 200,000, good views, bed shower, tv, strong wifi, not much else more you need and very helpful staff if you have questions about the local area, a bit run down but perfect for a quick cheap stay

  Rundown and not clean.

  I will start with the good because it's a short list. The staff are friendly and try really hard with the little English they speak. The second good thing is the rooms are pretty big. The rooms are really dirty. Our door handle was upside down and the wood has expanded so it was a mission to try get in and out of the room. There was a leak in the cupboard and a wet towel just thrown in there to try catch some of the water that was dripping everywhere. The walls are covered in a lot of weird stains, ranging from brown smears to hand marks created by red lipstick. The towels and sheet and blanket have just as many stains on them and even had old blood stains. To top it off the shower only had cold water. The room would have been a 100 times better if it was just given a seriously good clean with a high pressure hose. In their defense I was woken up early this morning by the sound of drilling so it does seem they are upgrading so maybe it will be better in the future. I was in a rush to leave but managed to snap a few pics to try and show what my room looked like.

  Friendly staff...but...

  Staff were friendly and helpful but...the room and hotel were not clean. Dirty bed linen, plaster falling from walls onto the bed, no soap or toilet paper. The room had a damp musty smell which did go after I opened the doors and windows. At night I was invaded by bugs. The staff did come and spray. Apart from making me cough the spray did not stop the bugs. I don't mind dilapidated and dodgy decor....but I do insist on clean. Despite booking for 2 nights I left after 1. I would not recommend.

  Kind stuff

  Staff really helpful and smiling. I have given a double at the single price for reduced availability. Bravi.The rooms are surely humid in the beginning but air conditioning works very well...beautiful river view!!!!
