    Thanksgiving escape

Fabulous resort, perfect for a holiday weekend getaway. My husband golfed, we rode horses together, went to the cowboy cookout, listened to the country music performers, and had an all around amazing time. This place has it all, but most importantly the entire staff makes you feel right at home. No one ever says "no," they will accommodate any request to make you comfortable and happy. Best customer service ever. Special thanks to Andrea "can you post a trot", Tony, Caroline and Carter at the corral; MJ, Romairo, Brett and Frank at the bar and restaurant. I look forward to seeing all of you again!

Beautiful authentic dude ranch in the Sonoran Desert!

We stayed here for 2 nights with two teenage kids on our way to the Grand Canyon. The location is very beautiful as are the ranch grounds! My kids could not get enough of the gorgeous saguro cactus! They have a horse run twice a day when all of the ranch horse run out to pasture which is so beautiful! We took a horse back ride and did the skeet shooting both were great. One of the favorite parts of our entire Arizona trip was the cowboy cookout! It was just perfect! There was singing, the stars were out, we made smores, had our boots branded and had a delicious meal! Because of covid we ate all of our meals on the patio. We did the all inclusive option and while the food was good and menu options were plentiful the service was extremely slow and not great. It by no means ruined our trip but certainly for whatever reason it took a long time to get food, and then longer to get the condiments requested. The rooms were nice but not grand. All in all we had a great time, I think it was good value for an authentic ranch experience. There were a lot of families and a lot of Arizona locals there during our stay.

    So disappointed

We had heard about Los Caballeros and thought we would check it for a future weekend trip with friends. We stopped for lunch and had to wait more than 45 minutes for someone to take our order that was after I went inside to ask. Others were getting their meals that had arrived after us. The waiter was less than friendly and the experience was not memorable. We had such high expectations and had heard such great things. Hope your experience is better than ours. In this time of Covid you would think people could at least be friendly when you visit.

    Just perfect

My husband and I were traveling in our RV and stayed at a RV park In Wickenburg. We had been in our RV for 5 weeks. While we were here we took a drive to check out the area and we stumbled on this beautiful Dude ranch!! I have a horse back at home in MN. And my husband golfs. So we took to the time to check this place out. We ended up getting a package where we stayed in this beautiful room w/ all of our meals, spa, horse back riding for me and golf for my husband. The people that work here are the nicest people you will ever meet. The most memorable is Joe!! He definitely sets the standards high for making our stay. It was so nice to get out of the RV and enjoy a few days. I would highly recommend this place to everyone I know. It is a must experience.

Could not have been better !

This property and experience could not have been better for our family of 4 adults and 4 teen grandchildren, especially, during this pandemic! Where do I begin? The staff was exceptional! As a retired staff developer, the staff training here was terrific! No request was too small to be handled efficiency and effectively with kindness and understanding. The staff were personable and friendly, without being obtrusive. Smiles all around! A special shout-out to Jessica and Diane for many answers to my MANY questions and Mark for helping me with a tricky surprise, which turned out even better than I expected! We had the adjoining one-bedroom Maricopa Suites which were just perfect to accommodate our family. The grandkids were more comfortable on the Murphy Beds than a fold-out couch and the space available when they were pushed back up in the wall was welcome during the rest of the day. The all-inclusive Get-a-Away package allowed us the experience of personal choice but, not having to worry about meals, activities and money. It was perfect for our diverse group! We took advantage of all the activities and every staff member was helpful, accommodating, experienced, friendly and very professional. After two horseback rides, during one of which my horse trotted, I even got over my fear of horses! Some reviewers mentioned that the bathrooms, especially, could be updated, but to me, that's what makes the whole property more authentic! It's a family RANCH, folks!
