    Be careful you don't get ripped off in the Paris Club

    I went in their "Paris Lounge" last Friday: I was greeted by an Arab lass in a hijab, who escorted me to the bar - and asked if she could have a vodka and orange. She downed it and asked for another. I said no. My bill was brought to me by a guy in a suit, accompanied by a goon in a Security T-shirt. It was thirty five dinars. Apparently my Savanna was five, which is pretty much the going rate around here, but the vodka and orange was 30 dinars (about £60 ffs). DON'T GO IN THERE!

    The Sports Bar - The worst place Ive ever had a beer or eaten food - ON THE PLANET

    So, called in at the suggestion of my friend, into what I can only describe as the most dimly lit dull and miserable "sports bar" I've ever visited inside this hotel. It was Saturday mid afternoon, place was dead, a few Indians and Arabs getting wasted. The décor was a total joke. cricket bats and badminton rackets nailed to the wall topped off with a plastic half size deer skull. It was like something from The Phoenix Club....at least that would have been funny. Brian Potter in his wheel chair...maybe there's an Arab version.... So, it didn't improve. I went for firstly a Heineken export. Grim as. The beer had not travelled or been stored well. To rid the taste I went for a stella, same again. Just grim! The bar boy tried his best...served us a bowl of nuts...then proceeded to jump in with his fingers to remove the "bad ones"..... I declined his kind offer of the beer snack. My friend asked after the "Bar finger platter"...bar boy was clueless...had to make a phone call to the "chef". Anyways he ordered it. 3.5 BD. What came was disgusting. The dips made me want to puke they were so bad. Old from jars. The "food" was even worse. Looked like it had been opened from a catering bag and simply deep fried, served up. Job done. It was a vile heart attack on a plate. Onion rings, mozzarella sticks, 3 raw chicken wings and some other non descript tasteless rubbish. Lets put it this way, if id have ordered it id have sent it back and walked out. I certainly would not have paid. The beer was garbage, the food was vile, the atmos was even worse. Probably a good place to go for cheap Pilipino women. I WILL NEVER set foot in that dump again.

    Nice place.

    Deep, Bahija, Kelam, Yusef, Iqbal, and all the lobby and kitchen staff were helpful. This was enough of a review, but now TripAdvisor forces me to write 200 characters minimum which irritates me, so this makes the 200 now. Stop it TripAdvisor. Bad review for your site.

    Fortnight vacation (15nights)

    Days of stay : Dec 23rd 2019 - Jan 07 2020 2 adults and one 6yr old child When we checked in on 23rd dec 2019 for 15 nights, the hotels reception and welcome was great However, things changed after 10days, lapses in attention for room cleaning We also requested to change the breakfast menu which had very limited options Day1-poori Day2-Dosa Day3-idli Then it repeats No change in juices ever We conveyed to hotel management that we cannot carry on with the breakfast and we did not take it for 4 days but no one even responded from the hotel management stating that they can accommodate some change or else compensate us We repeated our requests many times on all 4 days of missed breakfast but no one at hotel even paid attention to our request even we had a small child Very ordinary response Worst stay every and we regret why we spent so much of money (non refundable) Families: stay away from the hotel

    Great stay

    I stayed three nights during New Years Eve and I chose this hotel with no expectation more than the prefect location. I came earlier than the check in time at 12 noon and was not expecting to get room ready. I was welcomed by very friendly receptionist. After 5 mins talk she mentioned that check in time is at 2pm, however my room is ready, what a pleasant surprise. Room was great clean and comfy. During the stay everyone at the front desk are very engaged and smiley. I will definitely comeback. Thank you for great hospitality.
