  Breakfast by the beach

  The Nautilus Orewa is in a great location. Close to the beach for an early morning run or an evening stroll and surrounded by some fabulous places to eat, Casablanca served up delicious middle eastern cuisine, and Coast's Fish Taco's and Deep Creek beer hit the spot at the end of a busy day. However, you don't have to venture far as there is a bar and a Japanese right by the entrance of the Nautilus. The rooms are tidy and spacious and decorated to a good standard. They were however, just about to start re-decorating all rooms, so I imagine in the future the decor would have improved - not that it was bad to begin with. It was nice and quiet with a huge comfortable bed and the gym has a great view of the ocean while you run last nights dinner off on the treadmill. It also has a pool next to the gym if swimming is more your exercise style. If you feel like a holiday away from the city - it's a great place to stay and with Silverdale just up the road, you could do a spot of shopping in some of your favourite outlet stores and grab a coffee.

  What a great stay at the Ramada Orewa

  Freda and Eric are the consummate hosts and always put the customers front of everything they do. I am always welcomed with a friendly smile and a bit of humorous banter. The cleaning staff also do a fabulous job as every apartment I have stayed in (and I stay often for business) is in tip top shape, clean from top to bottom. It is always a pleasure staying

  Nice

  Ups and downs here. Upside , reception staff are helpful and pleasant, room well appointed and clean, plenty of space. Downside, beds need upgrade, tired looking reception area especially carpet, revolting smell in hallway for the two day we stayed. Luckily the smell did not enter our apartment. This place is in a good location and has nice views

  Two Night Stay

  Three of us (my husband, my brother and I) shared a Two plus One apartment as we were visiting the area. It had two bedrooms each with a double bed, a kitchen with all possible conveniences, a dining area, lounge and balcony with a sea view (with views of fairly horrible roofs containing air conditioning units!) and a shower room with washing machine. It was fabulous! I suspect a man designed it as there were no mirrors in the bedrooms, which was a slight inconvenience. I would definitely recommend it apart from Saturday nights when there is music and loud singing and shouting until 1oclock in the morning. We all found it impossible to sleep because of the noise. We were told afterwards that it always happens on Saturdays because the local pubs have extended licenses.

  Outstanding

  Beautiful, warm, quiet apartment, beautifully furnished with all the comforts. Great price and definitely value for money. We just loved the heated outdoor pool and two spas, and not to mention the amazing views! It was great for kids. exceptional customer service. Norma and Fred thank you so much!!
