  Expectativas superadas

  Esperábamos encontrarnos un motel normalito tirando a cutre por los 76 que nos costó la noche y, quitando el detalle de la falta de ascensor (nuestra habitación estaba en un primer piso), el resto estuvo perfecto. No está en el centro, pero se puede llegar andando sin problemas. Otra agradable sorpresa es que había una piscina exterior de agua caliente que no llegamos a utilizar, pero por la que tampoco cobraban sobrecoste alguno.

  friendly, relaxed holiday haven

  we stayed here for two nights Jan 2021 and absolutely loved our time here. 1. It was very friendly. 2. Our upstairs room with it's high pitched roof was very spacious. 3. It had big trees outside the front and felt un 'boxed in' . 4. It was set up with cutlery, crockery , microwave if you just wanted to eat at home. 5. Had a spa pool ( and swimming pool.. but we just used the spa. ) also beds were very comfortable. This resort is about a 15 minute walk. 4 minute drive from the town centre driving west along the lake.

  Great place to stay

  I took my granddaughter for a night at the Ramada and it was a fantastic stay at a very good price. The pool was lovely and there were beautiful outdoor eating areas and BBQs. The staff were great too. The room was clean and spacious and beds comfy.

  Work Trip to Wanaka

  Pleasant enough stay, the pool area is lovely, but there is no air conditioning, only a heater in the rooms and you have to pay for the internet, which they say will the be refunded, just a pain when you have to get a gst receipt for work and a bit odd really.

  Dissapointed

  King studio was not the same room as shown on Booking.com when we booked in. Actual room had less furniture and somehow managed to be darker than the black hole of Calcutta despite being upstairs and on the end of a row. We were confused by the lack of a sink in the kitchenette - why provide a kettle with no way to fill it? Are you meant to try and jam it sideways into the little bathroom handbasin? Ceiling light/fan had shonky remote that turns it on but not off. After all these little frustrations, the highlight of the evening was pulling back the blankets to find that instead of using a duvet cover they just put a sheet either side of the uncovered duvet inner. Presumably this is for ease of changing/washing, but it means that people come into direct contact with the duvet inner and ours was sporting what appeared to be a bloodstain with a hair stuck in it! And this while they're meant to be taking extra care due to Covid. I have given 2 stars due to the prompt and apologetic response of the staff member in moving us to another room (this room also felt down at heel - ripped curtains and stained ceiling, but the bedding appeared ok and we were too tired to worry too much). We will not be returning to this 'resort' or visiting any others in this chain.
