not 5 , only 3 star!Lack of customer service, food and beverage quality too low, rooms need to be refurbished to 5 star standarts (shower handle was broken when we checked in) No wi-fi in the rooms only in the lobby. Do not expect 5 star service from this hotel, THOMAS COOK need to review and re-rate this hotel again, otherwise they will lose future customers with disappointment. Overall, this hotel is not 5 star, only 3 star !

Worst holiday ever, need a holiday to get over this one.Booked the colours side but was transferred to the colours west, was with my partner and 6 year old child. Before we booked we asked Thomas Cook for a hotel with kids clubs and evening entertainment. We did not recieve any of these facilities here. The staff are extremely rude and ignorant. Service is very poor. They have zero health and safety awareness. The food was disgusting it was always cold we lived off rice and chips which we we're weary about because the staff did nothing but mess about in the resteraunt they climbed over the food counters ran around with trolleys we're told no if we asked them to bring us a drink. The alcohol was watered down u may aswell have drank pop or juice. Because of them failing to clean the floors when it rained and the ceilings leaked my daughter slipped with a glass in her hand in reception the glass smashed and she cut her hands not one member of staff tried to help her they just stood watching her cry, they didn't have a first aid kit at reception they didn't have an accident book or anything to record accidents we had to put up ewt floor signs ourselves because the staff didn't bother and there was so many people slipping and falling. The alacarte resteraunt was closed, the cinema and disco rooms we're closed, the rooms we're cleaned daily and fresh towels brought but they we're not cleaned properly the dust on the bedside tables was inches thick in our room. The staff in the shops downstairs we're also rude one of them shouted at a 12 year old child and them to tears. The hotel is not near anything it's a bus ride away from any shops or bars/ resteraunts. Thomas Cook we're just as least helpful as the hotel staff they failed to resolve the issues that customers had during their holiday. No one atall seemed interested that there we're so many paying guests having such a bad time. If you don't mind eating rice chips and salad and drinking pop and you don't want any entertainment u like playing cards for fun at night or maybe if your German because they are the only guests that got decent service then this is the hotel for you. I would advise any one with children to stay well clear of the colours hotels don't let the looks of it on pictures trick you into booking because you will regret it for the rest of your life. If you have already booked I feel sorry for you but atleast you might get some sun that will be the only good thing. This review is not in any way exaggerated I have never experienced anything like it in my life.

Light, bright, colourful, airy and very relaxingLovely hotel on the edge of the resort and c.6 kms from the historic centre of Side. Easily identifiable by the Rubiks Cubes on its roof honest it is truly THE most colourful hotel weve ever stayed in. The hotel looks tiny compared to others in the vicinity but we loved it. The Reception is bright and airy with loads of comfy sofas to laze around in during the evenings. Bedrooms are bright surprise surprise and have great views from what we could see. The restaurant - also colourful is well organised with a great selection of food. The traditionally themed evenings were great fun. Im a fussy eater and never failed to find something to eat. Theres a lovely looking Beauty Salon who have very friendly staff we didnt use the Salon other than to collect our pool towels which are provided free of charge for guests use at both the pool and beach. Adjacent to the Salon is an indoor pool and games room. Further along the corridor is the conference room where the Entertainment sometimes hold their evening activities. Poolside is very relaxing with a large adult pool, separate kids pool and separate water flume pool. The pool bar, with its smoothie bar, has a great selection of all inclusive drinks. Theres also a snack bar adjacent to the pool area that served cakes, etc in the afternoons. The Entertainment Team run a day and evening programme that should entertain most folk but have to say, we didnt bother with it. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the beach but if youre not feeling energetic the hotel runs a courtesy Cabrio-coach. Its worth a visit to the beach though lovely private section of beach with a fab beach bar/restaurant that serves lunchtime snacks to save you heading back to the main hotel. There are a few shops within the hotel Reception area but there are plenty of shops/bazaars just a short bus ride away from right outside the hotel entrance. Return bus rides will drop you off right outside also. Any trips that we booked also left from outside the Reception area.

Don't go hereIt's full of germans they push you out of way for food. Boring place to stay !! Beach was best place to go. Staff are no help at all. Room was basic. And the hotel is no were near any pubs or shops to visit. The entertainment is all in German. So English people don't understand what is happening

TERRIBLE!We booked this hotel as a five star all inclusive only to find it a very poor 4 star. This holiday was so bad we tried to book an early flight home but couldn't get one for less than £683.00 each (KLM via Amsterdam) so decided to stick it out, a bad decision as I got food poisoning the second week! We paid for an upgrade to the room and didn't get one. Our balcony was so small it had a single dining chair on it and you could only sit on this with the door open! The roof leaked when it rained there was no English tv, even though it was advertised, no headboard, rather uncomfortable as the walls were all stipple effect artex, the shower door was broken, I managed to scrounge tools and fixed it myself, and no plug for the sink. The dinning room was awful. Eating was a horrible experience like a dirty crowded works canteen from 1982. The food wasn't too bad but was repetitive and often cold, hence my food poisoning, so didn't eat there the second week. The drinks were cheap and nasty, the whiskey and brandy were the same "brown liquor" but the bar staff were very good. Entertainment !?! was terrible all in german or Russian. The whole hotel was full of Ivans and Krauts. The Hotel is situated on the dual carriageway at the back of the resort surrounded by wasteland and a derelict shopping mall, Classy. The resort was awful. There is just loads of all inclusive hotels with nothing to do outside in he resort. I found three bars, all german showing Bundesliga and nothing else. When the germans scored I thought they were about to shoulder arms and invade Poland! Very unlikable people. I have german friends but perhaps they are more middle class as they are friendly, educated and well dressed and this hotel obviously caters for more bottom end clientele. The less said about the Russians the better. Please take my advice, spend a little more money and go elsewhere, Side old town is very nice and the Turks were lovely warm friendly people. This is my first visit to Turkey and will probably be my last which is unfortunate as I am sure other hotels were much better but I could not bear another week like this.
