Wow, just wow.My wife and I recently holidayed from 1st-9th February 2020 at the Ramada. It was my wife's' 4th trip to Vanuatu and her second to the Ramada. We fully enjoyed the amenities of the resort and as always, it was the staff who made the stay most enjoyable. There are too many to name however special thanks must go to Junly, Emily, Gina, Bob, Magret, Caroline, August and Anthony for their attention to detail and friendly professionalism - they, along with the other behind-the-scenes staff do the resort much credit - especially the cleaners who kept our room impeccably clean every day. My wife was saddened to discover that Geraldine (from reception) had gone since August (2019) - she along with the other staff set the bar high for customer service and satisfaction. The restaurant also was great with a good variety of reasonably priced meals for all ages - My wife even thanked the Chef and his team for a job well done!

Really nice hotelThe hotel is by the shore of the little bay east of Port Vila. The entrance from the main road is hidden but once you pass the Au Bon Marche market at the roundabout, look for a big tree on your left and you will see a post on your right indicating the entrance. The rooms are type of apart hotel, you will enjoy the view of the sea bay (looks like a lagoon but with tides), the staff kind attendance and the beach. The rooms are located in different buildings numbered from 1 to 7. Number 2 is close to the parking place but not over the beach whilst 3 to 7 are over the beach. Transportation from the reception to the rooms is by the use of a buggy electric car. The rate confort vs price is quite good and better than other hotels. I recommend you to hire a car as the hotel is not close to the town centre, however taxis may be called and coming very fast. The only problem is that at the time of our arrival (we stay for 2 weeks) there were not so many buggies and in rainy season it is needed for reaching the car parking.

Relaxing StayThe rooms were large and were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The free use of kayaks and paddle boardsand snorkelling equipment was great. Emily was extremely helpful and sorted out any problems we had. Nikki was always there when we needed a buggy to or from Reception. he would courteous and informative and always willing to help.

Wifi is terrible at this hotelThe staff is friendly even if not responsive to problems. This hotel had the worst wifi internet I have ever had at any hotel worldwide, reported issues and they simply give another coupon. Website advertises free wifi, but in fact it is throttled and restricted to a certain amount per day and then they want to charge you extra for additional usage. Extremely unprofessional. They also do not recognize your status with the Wyndham program if you have any unless you make them aware of it.

Good stayAfter 4 nights close to the city, my partner and i decided to go have abit of luxury. We called ahead that morning and was told we could get the same rate as bookings...But when we got there, it was like no one had spoken to us. They mucked around for so long it was getting very frustrating. We ended up booking via via Bookings.com in the lobby area...saved us a bit of money. Anyway location was ok, as we didnt venture out, was great just to chill. No street noise, plush bed, lots of space, and modern in our one bedrrom apartment. The food was plentiful the cider is dangerous, the breakfast was nice (got to have the donuts) and make sure you go for a paddle. It is a hike up and down the hill, but they have buggies for that, mind u the walk downhill was ok. Would I stay here again...yes, would I recommend...yes definitely.
