  Wow! Plenty of open spaces. large rooms. Great breakfast.

  This hotel does not fail to impress. It is spacious. It's atrium is surrounded by the bedrooms then corridors go off from that area to other guest rooms. The rooms themselves, well ours had two doubles a ceiling to floor window, a desk/ work area, a chaise long, it was very spacious. The bathroom had a separate bath and shower, plus all toiletries, including moisturiser. Could not have needed anything more, except free WiFi , only free in lobby. We used the Hotel bar, which was opened on our request, there were 5 of us only, no service charge here, that is something you need to be aware of in hotels in China, as it does increase the price of your drink dramatically. Again here the decor and furnishings were very modern and stylish, I loved it. The restaurant serves all meals and this too is very opulent, it has large chairs/sofas in plush velvet and silver trims, a window across one side which looks out over the gardens and pool. Breakfast was very varied and would appeal to all tastes, your coffee/tea is filled up repeatedly. The hotel is near food shops restaurants and other retail outlets, literally over the road.

  An average hotel but enjoyable

  After having stayed at such grand hotels during our tour this was a little let down. The hotel and it's facilities were excellent but the room was average. Service from all the staff was very good but some had trouble with English.

  Probably the best hotel in Dazu.

  Make sure you get booked in the right hotel, as there are 2 Ramada Plaza hotels in Chongquing, one in the center and one in the west, near the Dazu Rock Carvings. This 5 star hotel has all the amenities one can expect, with comfortable rooms and a great buffet breakfast. Strangely, for an international chain hotel, no English was spoken. Very comfortable, friendly service. They did bring up feather pillows!!

  WILL NOT HONOR BOOKING.COM RESERVATIONS

  I booked this hotel in December for a February visit through Booking.com. I received a confirmation number and three days before my arrival the hotel messaged me to say that they looked forward to our visit. After a 45 minute taxi ride from the Dazu train station we arrived at the hotel and were told they had no record of our reservation, stated they had no rooms and even denied the email they had sent was from them. They claimed they do not do business with Booking.com. Then they said they did have rooms but we would need to pay more than double if we wanted one. The Assistant Manager Steven read this review before I posted it. He says it is all booking.coms fault because the reservation was never Real. He did help me find a similarly priced room at a budget 8 motel for the exact same price I was going to pay for the Ramada. So same price but for a much poorer quality room. In other words, he was still trying to hustle me. Finally my friend found another hotel that was actually very nice, cost less and even picked us up from the Ramada. Its the Vienna Hotel. Id post a link, but hopefully you can find them on your own. Recommended. But several hours wasted at Ramada dealing with generally rude and indifferent Ramada staff. Called Booking.com who was pretty useless. Wed already checked into The Vienna before theyd found some other alternative hotel far away. That was my Ramada experience. Dont repeat it.

  It's basic but comfortable

  The hotel is inexpensive. After I got into my room, it took some time for the room to get cool. There are many power sockets in the room which is nice. The bed is comfortable. There is label of softness on each pillow. I like the light sensor of the closet as well. The wifi was not very stable. Water came out very slowly from the bathtub, probably using of bathtub was discouraged. The water pressure of the shower room was normal. The breakfast was basic and the service was average.
