I get were in a strange situation with the Covid situation and I get some changes wed to be made but I was staying away up until the end of March started back April and hotels can cater for it , but this place is behind the times . Room very dated ( must be an original from 1953 ) Telly didnt work No coffee only decaf ? Room seriously needs an upgrade No breakfast option No evening meal option Room not cleaned during stay Can beer at the bar What we actually paying for had a lot better in other places Sorry Ramada your times up in Loughborough and for me and my colleagues

Sleep on the street for a better night and talk to the wall outside if you need help with anything!

I booked to stay in this 'hotel' for 4 nights, as I had a training event to attend in the local area, but I wish I hadn't have stepped through the doors. I was given a room on the first floor, which was filthy, had a single (lumpy) bed, stains on the toilet bowl and no hot water. It was 10pm by the time I realised there was no hot water, so I went to reception the next morning and was told "Oh yes...we always have problems with the hot water in that room, as it's at the end of the run". I told him I wanted to move rooms and he agreed. I then ended up on the top floor at the final room at the end, just next to the radiator that was leaking, with a small tub underneath it (good sign). This room was huge and had a big double bed, but on closer inspection in the evening, it looked like it had already been used. I found hair on the bed (both head and the other type) and grease stains on the sheets. The hotel's themed 'stains on the toilet bowl' were there, but at least this room had hot running water! I decided to check out the next morning, as the thought of staying 2 more nights in this place filled me with dread! Craig seemed a bit shocked that I was checking out early, but agreed to process a refund of the 2 unused nights, took my card details again and said farewell, without apologising for my awful stay. So, I was due a refund of the 2 nights back in December and with 3 days to go until March, I have NOT received the refund!!! This hotel does have the highest level of incompetence running through it, so at least that's one thing they can be proud of! Email sent to the 'Duty Manager' - Response: "It's being processed, but might take longer due to covid". Call to reception - "Email me the details over and I'll chase it for you" - No response. Email sent to the Duty Manager again - Response: "I've sent it to our accounts department and will reply when I receive any information back" - No response. Embarrassing customer service, which perfectly sums up how bad this place is. Tip for the future - Stop deciding to stay at a hotel based on the name and thoroughly read the reviews, as if people take 30 minutes out of their life to write something like this, then things must be bad. Finally - Had to complete a dispute form with my credit card company to try and get the money back, as the hotels useless accounts team have STILL not processed my refund! Maybe they haven't received the refund request and it is too difficult a task to process by the hotel staff?! Who knows...... Avoid like the plague!

    RIDICULOUS

this is actually getting ridiculous. I was meant to have my 18th birthday party at Ramada in MARCH (on the 27th) but obviously because of the coronavirus it had to be cancelled so I contacted the manager Craig and I had a phone call with him where I gave him my card details. He told me in JUNE that my £500 refund would be in my bank account in under 2 weeks. It is now nearly NOVEMBER and no one has bothered to tell me anything about the progress of the refund, Ive tried to ring so many times but nothing is getting sorted. All anyone tells me is Ill look into it now and give you a ring tomorrow and then never hear anything again. I never expected this kind of service from such a nice hotel, I am so disappointed.
